New Nightblade asking about armor.

I've been playing ESO for a few weeks now and have gotten my wood elf nightblade up to 43 mainly doing quests and such. I have recently started doing dungeons and I'm in need of new armor. I currently have just whatever is best from the various quests and such. I know I'm going to need better armor when I get to 50 and start champion points. Where do I go to get this good armor or is it just grinding out dungeons and quests?

I'm on XB1 but since I'm new I don't have much gold and everyone seems to want it ,which I understand. I'm just trying to get my character to the point where PvP isn't a nightmare where I die every 5 seconds.What platform are you on? You an always find a crafter to make a decent set for you
