If your options are the only one you want, I vote for option 2.

Is the extra health from Imperial maybe good for Nightblade?

Option 1 seems like a slam dunk, High Elf Sorcerers are good, but I really don't like them. My love is Dark Elves, and based on their lore, especially Ashlanders, were Ashlanders more magic based or sneak, Nightblade based?
Option 1
High Elf Magicka Sorcerer
Dark Elf Stamina Nightblade
Option 2
Dark Elf Sorcerer
Imperial Stamina Nightblade
Thanks!

If your not min maxing and looking at it from a lore perspective either is viable. Ashlanders Where more or less nomadic dark elves that had warriors and what id assume where people adept in magic(shamans). Also house Telvanni was a house that prized and practiced magic.obviously a high elf sorcs speaks for itself both from a lore and min maxing perspective. Imperial night made as well since they're considered the most well rounded race. In Elder scrolls lore just about any combination is viable since all races practice magic too some degree and have assassins and sorcerers.
Ashlanders have both warriors and mages of all kinds... more warriors then mages, of course, but still they are viable for both sword or sorcery (just to fit the theme, keep to somewhat nature-ish gear sets... more "primitive race" style then "high fantasy" - but that meshes well with a lightning and fire based sorceror for ashlands shaman, so...).DarkWombat wrote: »I don't min/max so please choose between these two options based on lore and why.

I play imperial stamina nightblade, extra health is definitely worth it.
