I don't min/max so please choose between these two options based on lore and why.

Option 1 seems like a slam dunk, High Elf Sorcerers are good, but I really don't like them. My love is Dark Elves, and based on their lore, especially Ashlanders, were Ashlanders more magic based or sneak, Nightblade based?

Option 1
High Elf Magicka Sorcerer
Dark Elf Stamina Nightblade

Option 2
Dark Elf Sorcerer
Imperial Stamina Nightblade

Thanks!

I dont think dark elf stamina are good, if you want stamina character, I recommend other races.

If your options are the only one you want, I vote for option 2.
    PC, EU server, Ebonheart Pact

Finally a reason not to play League of Legends

Is the extra health from Imperial maybe good for Nightblade?

I play imperial stamina nightblade, extra health is definitely worth it.

    Okay done!

I want Clothier, Woodworking (and Carpentry), Enchanting.

Who should do what? Imperial Nightblade and Dark Elf Sorcerer.

Keep in mind this is more a lore based question, like what do you picture...

If your not min maxing and looking at it from a lore perspective either is viable. Ashlanders Where more or less nomadic dark elves that had warriors and what id assume where people adept in magic(shamans). Also house Telvanni was a house that prized and practiced magic.obviously a high elf sorcs speaks for itself both from a lore and min maxing perspective. Imperial night made as well since they're considered the most well rounded race. In Elder scrolls lore just about any combination is viable since all races practice magic too some degree and have assassins and sorcerers.

Ashlanders have both warriors and mages of all kinds... more warriors then mages, of course, but still they are viable for both sword or sorcery (just to fit the theme, keep to somewhat nature-ish gear sets... more "primitive race" style then "high fantasy" - but that meshes well with a lightning and fire based sorceror for ashlands shaman, so...).

Dunmer are a bit more effective as magical class, due to the boost they get when using a flame staff. And imperials are effective as stamina class, especially nightblades since their passives will help offset the class drawbacks in survivability a bit...

But in the end, its a question of what you like best! Both options are quite viable!

I mean... I am running both a dunmer stamina nightblade and a dunmer magica sorc as my main characters...

Crafting... you can easily learn three crafting skills per character without having to skimp on anything you might need otherwise, so I suggest grouping the three equipment crafting skills on one, so you need only learn all the motivs once, and have the other for the consumable crafting. So, one woodworking, clothier and blacksmith, and the other provisioner, alchemy, enchanting. Or designate one as "honest" character and lump enchanting in with the gear crafting, and don't spend skill points on evil criminal activities (in that case, it would be the sorceror, since any nightblade worth their dagger will jump at both theives guild and dark brotherhood...)

Worth it for having a tankier build. I'd agree as long as he's not min maxing
