I recently bought Elder Scrolls Skyrim for PS4. I got a code for the Dragon Warrior costume and Yokudan charger. BUT I only have eso for PC and I don't want the code to go to waste. Is it against the rules to sell the code for gold?

    I don't think so. I give my codes away for free.

    Give away for 100% free no.
    Problably - sale on an official website like eBay but I'd check the TOS

    I am not 100% sure. I have seen people sell pig codes in the past however. I would double check the terms of service to see if it is outlined anywhere.

    Would it be to much trouble to ask for a link? Cause I couldn't find anything last I checked?

    People openly sold the pig codes from the Quakecon or whatever it was all the time.

    You cant sell it for money and get caught. Ive seen plenty of people selling them in game for guild auctions. free is allowed.

    Yes. You can give the codes away but you may not sell them for in game gold or real money.

    It's technically forbidden, but nobody will check if you sell or buy it for real money. Just do it through an external website and don't advertise it here.
    If you sell it for gold, it probably also won't get picked up by the system unless you sell it for a suspiciously huge amount of gold.

    Sale is an iffy one, I have seen pigs, pre-order and other codes for sale on eBay and other sites and ZOS don't seem to have cracked down on it too bad. At most I think they would just ask you/selling site to take it down and doubt you would face legal action.

    Giving away free is fine, I have gifted some codes I have gained via competitions or game orders already.

    I have a response from Support Ticket specifically stating it Is okay to sell pig codes in game for gold.

    I used somebody's code they posted on the game's facebook page and no issues have ever come out of it.

    In case I was misubderstood. I meant sale for in-game gold. Like give it to a guildy and he gives me gold.

    I wouldn't think that would be a bad thing if it was just for gold and not real $
