Maelstrom Bugged, can't pick up quest and questgiver is in the ground.

I have this weird thing every time I enter vMA where the two NPC's at the start are in the ground (see screenshot above). I completed a run in vMA yesterday and wanted to do another today. Weirdly though I can't pick up the quest. I tried relogging and porting out and changing dungeon mode, but nothing seems to work.

This is really annoying cause playing without the quest means I can not save my progress...

Some help would be appreciated!

Having NPC's stuck in the ground is all over Tamriel since the Housing update...just go into Cyro and visit a Keep or one of the "Flag Capture" Towns...it's very funny...oh and yes very annoying

Blegh that's not good.

Being unable to pick up the maelstrom quest really bugs me though. Means I can't play it until it's fixed

I had not same issue, but after completing it I couldn't hand it in, had to abandon quest, next time completed it was fine.
