personally i believe that crafting bag alone make eso plus worth it... plus why should i even bother buying any costume from cash shop if i can't even dye them? was looking at several cloth in the crown shop, but none of them really fit my color...

p.s. or i could buy one month sub just to dye my costume..though i felt kinda stupid.. why do i have to pay monthly fee just to dye a piece of cloth that i brought with cash in a b2p game??

    I would also like this as I dissaprove of the doubble paywall of first buying the costume and then pay to dye it.

    Also, I very rarely see anyone mentioning this when they count all their perks, just saying.

    Maybe...because its an incentive to sub to ESO+?

    As someone who subs, I rather agree - I don't see costume dyes as a huge incentive to keep me subbing, would have absolutely no problem with them becoming a standard part of the game.

    I bought a 1 month sub to dye my costumes.

    But it wasn't just one of them. At the time I had 4 characters (not counting mules) and 8 costumes. I don't use them all on every character, but I use at least 3 or 4 on each.

    I had been planning to buy dye stamps for them until I found out how useless dye stamps are (they don't let you choose the dyes or even the order they appear in). So that made it seem more worthwhile - I could dye all 32 costumes for £9, plus I got crowns (slightly more expensive than my usual 5,500 packs, but still) and got to dump materials in the crafting bag.

    I do wish we had the system I thought dye stamps were going to be - you can dye your costume just like you can with ESO Plus (choosing from the dyes you have unlocked) and then you use the stamp to save them. But it seems unlikely they'd change it now.

    Really? Why did I get the impression you could dye costumes? I thought if you go to the dye station in the right corner there is an option to dye the costume. Then you can pick from what you have...They might have changed this since it been a while since I dyed anything. But I would be interested to find this out - mainly because its time for a look change for me ^_^

    @SunnyBunny

    You can dye costumes at the dye station if you subscribe to ESO Plus. The OP wants everyone to be able to do it.

    Yes, costumes can be dyed via the dye station as you said. Only subscribers can do this. Anyone else must purchase a dye stamp from the crown store choosing from the colors combinations available.

    Zos could make an item available on the crown store than would permit a non subscriber to dye one item which would essentially stay inline with the business decision to make this an ESO+ perk and take care of non-subs at the same time.

    I don't currently sub and I do feel that the opinion of those who do sub should weigh more on this but I would like to see this option open to everyone. Anything that has to do with character customization should be open because that's a key factor that keeps players in the game. Learn from City of Heroes baby RIP.

    I would happily purchase dye from the crown store if this is what it was - an item that allowed dyeing at the dye station. The dye stamps are always very awful colors and you are stuck with the combination they choose. If we could dye the same way as subscribers I would definitely be paying for a stamp for every character.

    Oh @Giles.floydub17_ESO and @Smepic I hadn't even realized this (I get my Sub as a gift every year for either Christmas or my Birthday). I just assumed it was something everyone could do
