Gods Save The King

In order to buy the homestead, Grymharth's Woe, in Windhelm, I have to complete the achievement "Blood Feud." Why can't we just buy homesteads outright with gold and not be required to complete a very long questline first?
Anyway, I am stuck on the "Gods Save The King" quest. After talking to the priest, no matter which totem (bear, fox, or wolf) I click on, I am not teleported to the next phase. I click on any totem and the game just tells me to "free fractured spirit of Jorunn." I have seen other players get teleported to the next phase, but no matter what I try, nothing works for me.
I have logged out and logged back in numerous times. I have fast traveled and came back to Mistwatch. I have waited and waited. I have abandoned the quest and retried many, many times. I have gone to do other things and then came back. I have even attempted to repair the game using the game client repair tool, but that results with nothing. No matter what I do, I can't get the game to teleport me to the area where I'm supposed to be next.
Because of this, I won't be able to buy my homestead choice, Grymharth's Woe. I'm not going to buy a different house, especially when a very long questline is required to be completed for another.

SheepdogPaladin✭✭✭On what seemed like my one millionth attempt, the totem suddenly worked and I was teleported to the next phase of the quest. Not only that, I was able to complete the entire quest line, earn the Blood Feud achievement, and finally purchase my desired homestead.
I have no clue why it suddenly worked after many, many tries since yesterday.0
