Last night I was tanking vDSA and we get to the last boss. We had been in there a while after struggling on the sacrifices round for about an hour. Everyone's tired and wants to finish it. We do the four boss strategy, but on our third attempt at the boss, as per usual one of the mini bosses decides to throw a negate on his way back to the stairs with me. It messes up the team and everyone ends up wiping with hiath at 102k health.
So there I am, setup as an ult regen tank with bloodspawn, tavas, and dragon guard with four mini bosses on me an hiath making his way across the arena to me. So I run out to him and begin my pitiful dps on him. 3k damage on taunts, maybe 3.5 from heroic slash. I did have venomous claw on my bar--threw it on there to get a little dps on him during the first phase since chains aren't needed for the fight.
Using immovable pots on cooldown, and the OP one hand and shield ult, I was able to survive and slowly whittle him down. Seriously, the 1HS ult is super good in the last stage of vDSA. When hiath dropped I yelled "Xbox record that!" But unfortunately, my Xbox is set to only record the last 30 seconds. So it wasn't that impressive of a clip. Gotta fix that. But it was a super clutch finish to our run! I was even rewarded with a precise masters sword. Would've preferred defending for PvE or sharpened for PvP, but I'll take it.
TL:DR I tanked vDSA and my team died with hiath at 102k health. I killed him as the tank with hiath and all four mini bosses on me.
