Heavy Armor

Well I have been wearing medium Armor up to this point . Have invested probably at least 6-8 skillpoints in it. But my reward for killing Angof is a a heavy Armor Breastplate. What is the difference between heavy and medium. Besides not using my medium armor skills.

Think light = mag med = stam and heavy = health. That's how they are generally set up tank hvy dps med etc because of the passives that click on 5 pieces.

Thanks for the reply skip..But if I put it on with all my medium armor because it is really nice compared to the medium Chest I am wearing how would i be penalized. I realize I would lose all the per piece medium armor skills for that 1 piece. But would I be penalized in any other way. Say slower movement ..unable to sneak..unable to use magic...etc.

You may have slightly less stats in med passive but not really any penalty as you say and you won't notice it anyway

SO armor points do not really effect the game. Well thats very dissapointing if that is true. I am guessing that I could take more damage than before and my health would decrease a little slower hopefully.

It does affect the game but more on statistical way. More armour = more resistance = less damage incoming. However based on your gear passives your damage output will be less since heavy armour is meant for damage reduction and not damage output.
