My primary reasons for wanting Daggerfall Overlook is the title that comes with it and that fact that its a Breton castle, and I am primarily a Breton player. Sadly, however, can't spend $80 on a digital house and farming gold is slow, but I will get there eventually, I know it.

Don't waste real money on this!! You could buy two full games and the weed to enjoy them, or, a house. A digital, empty house.

    Don't throw away $120!!!

    Humble brag.

Have fun with every house in the game empty. Hope it was worth spending tones of real money and in game gold (time) for 300 empty houses.

It's kind of silly telling people not to spend money on something digital yet suggesting they buy something else... that is also digital. Personally, I'm not super big into housing stuff but there are a ton of RPer's out there that stuff like this makes their day. Just because it's not valuable to you doesn't mean it isn't to others. I agree with the price being too expensive though.

Not really an RPer more of a personal preference

We must have quite different images of vampires in our mind, because... How is the Overlook more vampire-y than the Chateau?? Also, you could wait for the Cavern and spend all your crowns on that to get an underground(ish) lair.

While I'm not busy trialing and doing dungeons I often spend time RPing in this game the same way that I RP in Skyrim. Each Character I make they all have a different background and story to tell. Part of my pleasure of being able to express my gift of imagination in a virtual world where I am unable to do in the real world.

As someone who has a strong imagination (Which is keeping me sane in this insane political world these days) having a virtual house where my characters can call home gives them a whole new meaning.

I think it's interesting how people talk about spending the money it costs to buy two games, and yet, ESO you can spend months and years playing, versus most other games that you finish in just a few hours. So what is the value when it comes to time spent on a game versus the cost of a game? Also, not everyone is a game hopper, I spend months/years on ONE game playing three to four days a week for 8-12 hours with a few different characters... so no, spending a lot of real money in ESO is NOT a waste because the cost to in-game time ratio is very much in my favor. Also interesting how many people go out and spend several hundred each month on drinking, partying, etc and have nothing to show for it but a few short hours of entertainment... yet someone can spend the same money in ESO and have MONTHS worth of entertainment.
