What if the Crown-only house becoming Crown Crates only?

I know the idea is crazy and it's horrible, but I really believe that Zoe can make this kind of decision for money, since we all know how hard to get a Astro mount in crown crates, I tried like 60 crates and the only mount I got is the horse bought buy gems.

There probably will at least be house furnishings if nothing else.

I doubt they would, because, honestly, as much as they'll charge for those houses, they're more likely to make more profit charging a flat fee that putting them in the gamble boxes. Not unless they make it way rarer than even the Atronach mounts were. Some people were getting those mounts within 15 boxes. :p
    Living vicariously through my characters.

    My Girls:
"If you were trapped in your house for, say, a year, how would you pass the time?"

Nephikah the Houseless, dunmer assassin: "I suppose I could use the break. I have a lot of business holdings now that need management."
Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "I think that I would enjoy writing a memoir."
Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "Would this one be able to go outside, to the nearby river? It's hard to fish without water!"
Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "Who is forcing me to stay inside, and where can I find them?"
Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "And why would I want to go outside in the first place? Too much to be done in the workshop."
Lorelai Magpie, breton master thief: "I'd go nuts. Lucky for me, I have a little experience sneaking out!"
Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "I would continue my training to keep my skills sharp."
Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "I suppose it would be lucky, then, that I built a shrine to Mephala in my backyard."
Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hate being inside even when I'm not forced to be. GET. ME. OUT."
Madam Argentia, vampire dunmer aristocrat: "I suppose it would be more of the same. I have a rather... contentious relationship with the sun."
Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'd have to house train my bear..."
Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "What Lorelai said."
Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one would like a rest from her grand adventures. Her jewel shop runs out of stock!"
Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "Provided that I am confined to Artaeum, I do not think I will want for things to occupy my time."
Shauna Blackfire, redguard necromancer: "Sounds like paradise. I hate people."
Kirniel the Undying, cursed bosmer warrior: "I would feel useless, not being able to fight."
Echoes-from-Dragons, argonian who thinks she's a dragon: "All the better to count my hoard!"

(Signature idea shamelessly stolen from Abeille.)

I'm sure something housing related or even a house will pop up

The prices of houses in crowns for large and manor exceed logic for me.
Regardless of how many crowns I've accumulated and purchased, I did buy one of the crates but I won't be buying anymore

Yeah that's why this question came to me, the price of manor is already high enough, and if they set the price for the island like 50k crowns, there might be few people willing to buy it, but when it comes to crown crates, it's harder to refuse buying crown crates in which Zos will have more profit...

Why would you think the island would be that much? LOL that's irrational. It'll be no different than the manors. They're just spacing out the releases so people will spend again later.

If it's the same price, who will choose a manor when you can have an island?

If it's 5x more expensive who will buy an island?

They know the same people that would rather use crowns to buy the biggest house are also the same people that will get all googly eyed when they see the island drop a couple months later. The entire population didn't play on the PTS Homestead. The vast majority have no idea that an island is even coming. And that's exactly why the island and cave homes were not there at Homestead launch. They didn't want people having to choose between them. They want them to buy both, but they can't do that unless they have time in between.

I have come to believe that what they do on the crown store will no longer surprise me, as I am expecting the worst.

Crown only houses? Already got it.
Houses in crown crates? Count on it.
Limited time houses? Count on it.

Pay-to-win... well... I at least hope that this one will not be for a long time...

Ive noticed a common theme with ppl talking about crown prices but their logic behind what something should or shouldn't cost, in my observations are usually illogical.

50k in crowns is around purchasing 5500 crowns 9 times. You're talking about $220-$350 using US currencies

11,000 in crowns is more digestible at $50-$80 but that's still a bit much

Crates are $25-$39 for one of the largest bundles however it's more important to comprehend that the return or generation of crown gems, only comes after having purchased crown items or via crate rewards.

I'm guessing people are trying to suggest crown cost via the crate system but that idea isn't realistic because you're pricing a home in excess of a nice PC video card or a console

Placing a home behind a gamble rng digital system which isn't actually random because it's working via software, I often see very odd suggestions

Then there are those who imply that X should cost Y cause they paid X or another feature or item, but that also isn't logical or ideal because crown items aren't limited to pricing brackets in terms of what ZOS does.

The prices also will change a lot because these prices are a market and so it's going to play into the amount of crowns unused and how many exist at the time of x items being added

Not sure we'll see houses in Crown Crates, as others stated, they can make more money by selling them individually... besides, they seem focused on mounts for the Crown Crate seasons... can't see them adding several houses and having them as Crown Crate exclusives, especially since they offer 'furnished' and 'unfurnished' variations... so which would the Crates offer? Too many details for a Crown Crate item.

I doubt that they would sell the large houses through crates, too much of a money maker selling them furnished. I could see them adding in moderately sized ones. If the large ones were there, they might be special "buy with gems" homes.

Now, let's make another guessing game, if they offered the big homes in crates and as purchasable in the crown store, will folks complain it's a pay to win game and *** they can't complete trials or get emp in pvp because of this?

I'm just using 50k as an example, I have no clue about how much the price will be but I believe it will cost more than manors, so even the price is set to 20k crowns, I don't think there's a lot people will buy a useless house(probably no one visit) instead buying a lot of cool mounts or pets or other thing...

Spending money to buy 60 crown crates aren't too much for me, comparing that the fun ESO has brought to me, I just won't buy any crates anyomore.

My guess is that these houses will go for 17-19k (unfurnished and furnished , respectively). That's $160, and A LOT of people will buy them

Crates make sense for small ticket items.
