Are all rare fish in Coldharbour in foul water pools?
That's it. Are there any river, lake, or ocean pools? If they are all foul water, that means we need lots of crawlers and fish roe.

HansK✭✭✭Moray Leech can absolutely be caught in Coldharbour, caught one myself 2 days ago. Heinous Gar also but that was pre-update3.
The other rares, what are their names?

Edit: at the moment, the achievement is bugged. Most of the fish that count towards the Coldharbour achievement right now are the fish found in Reaper's March, not found in Coldharbour. You'll still get only native Coldharbour fish (ex. Plasm Darter), but you won't get achievement by only fishing in Coldharbour.Edited by MeowGinger on August 11, 2014 9:52PM1 -
OK. I caught the 8 fish while in Reaper's March. Can I get the Coldharbour achievement by catching (all from foul pools) the Moray Leech, Ghoulfish, Heinous Gar, and Stingerpike? Or is that broken? And what are these other rares I'm catching that aren't on any achievement list?0

I am wondering if the achievement is still bugged after all this time. I have been fishing Coldharber for weeks off and on and still cant seem to get one Heinous Gar. I get multiples of all the rest including the blue rares. I am using the add on "Fish Tracker" and have finished all of the Dominion. Coldharbor is giving me the cold shoulder for heinous gar.0 -

I've caught all 12 fish within three days about two months ago. So, the achievement seems to be working (well, if ZOS didn't break it again since then). It's probably just bad luck for you.1 -
CaptainObvious✭✭✭✭Heinous Gar was my last for first Master Angler, but I finally caught one near Shrouded Plains wayshrine several updates ago.
Caught one recently (past few) around the same location on an alt.Due to a typo in the system, the area was accosted by the Daedric Prince Moar Lag Brawls.1 -
Pangnirtung✭✭✭✭✭I got my achievement for Cold Harbour about six weeks ago so I don't think that it is bugged.
Getting trophy fish is again has everything to do with the random number generator.
I tired to get my blue fish from Malabal Tor and it took probably seven hundred fish before I got it.
A week later I had some worms to burn off so I returned and got my blue on the FIRST cast.
There's nothing bugged about the Cold Harbour fish at the moment. It's totally random.1 -
