Hello fellower Players!

I am a new Player and want to be a Tank in ESO. People suggest me a Stamina DK Tank for the begin.

So I would love to know, if you can help me find a Build for Leveling + Tanking in later game. So I can see what Skills I have to "Level up" and which Weapons / Armor :)

Thanks in advise!

Here is my advice, do not level as a tank. Try to level as a character, and what I mean is try to level all your skills. Any skill on your bar will get XP anytime you kill something or turn in a quest, as will the associated skill line. For example, you can level your sword and shield line by slotting a skill from that line, even if you are using a bow, 2H, whatever. You wont be able to use the skill, but it will level.

Edit: same goes with armor. You will level faster in medium but will ultimately tank in heavy. I would wear 5 medium 1 light 1 heavy while you level so they all level.

Leveling with a sword and board is going to be painfully slow. I recommend DW and Bow. Try to also keep at least one skill from each class line on your main bar so they are leveling as well. The goal is to get all your class skill lines and a handful of weapon lines to 50 by the time you are ready to tackle end game.

DKs currently make the best tanks, but I would not think of them as "stamina tanks." Most DK tanks build for a pretty big stamina pool, but stack a lot into magic regen. This allows you to blockcast Igneous shield to take advantage of your earthen heart passives. In other words, you get to regen stamina while blocking. It also allows you to cast chains and talons on command. My standard tank bars, which will work on darn near anything (double Sword and Board):

Front: Pierce armor, Heroic Slash, Absorb Magic, Igneous Shield, Vigor (could be CDB or invigorating drain), Aggressive Warhorn

Back: Inner fire, Chains, Talons, Evasion, Hardened armor, Magma Shell

Basically you keep up Evasion and Hardened Armor at all times, keep up your taunt, try to chain in and cc adds with talons and block cast igneous shield when taking damage.

Another very helpful diagram our raid leader made for tanking:

Well I guess I understand this Image. But thanks for this tip on Leveling.

I guess I gonna do so. Do you know, if I need any Addons while Leveling? Or can I level without Payments?

By add-ons I think you are referring to DLC and no you do not need any DLC while lvling, honestly I'd suggest you not to buy any DLC until you are Max lvl (unless you choose to sub, then you get them all free while you are subbed). This way you won't get any of the DLC dungeons which can be quite taxing for new players lvling who have little or no CP.

If you do in fact mean add-ons, these are free. Download minion, an add-on manager from esoui.com and find add-ons that may be helpful to you there. I suggest at the bare minimum grabbing Skyshards, lorebooks and destinations add-ons along with whatever else you want.
