Non Combat Sets - Harvesting/Crafting

Hi, I was just wondering while I was doing the harvest grind. The sets I use for the most part are the Jailbreaker and Fiord sets when doing so. That gave me an idea, what about sets that benefited non combat skills?

Take for example harvesting, a 5 piece set could be the "Woodcutters Gear" set, which adds +1 resource of whatever you harvest (does not stack if the double harvest passive procs) and all other iterations of that type of gear. For provisioning a set piece could be the "Culinary Maestro" set, adding 5 minutes to the duration of any crafted food while worn. the "Poison Master" set adds one second duration to any created poison effect when worn, the "Potion Master" adds 5 seconds to any created potion effect, etc.

Are there any other ideas that you may have? Would you think this is a good/bad idea? are there ways where this could break the game?

Definitely should be added to the crafted sets.

Carpenters Raiment. Increase chance of furniture material when harvesting.

Possibly change one of the less used sets like song of lamae.

Cool idea but what a pain changing out all your gear just to pick nodes

I would probably make a harvester toon...

I agree it would be great to have crafted sets that benefit node harvesting. Great idea!

As the OP pointed out, many of us are already running Jailbreaker / Fiord on dedicated harvester characters.

    Awesome Gloves of Lockpicking
    + skill
    + speed

Considering another thread on troublesome locks a Morrowind-ish feature.
(pretty sure items like this were mainly guild/house quest rewards)

It would be awesome to have items like these in the heist reward bags like maelstrom weapons (not a set item, just an enchantment)

Adding that to the Crafted sets would certainly be interesting. However, It may be a better idea for it to be World drops, otherwise for already seasoned crafters it becomes something that they don't need to put any more effort into (as they already have all traits needed). Though at the same time ignoring the crafting aspect may put some people off. Perhaps some gear can be dropped, and some gear crafted.

Imagine '+resource amount drop' gear being a dropped item set, from "npc's with better gear". and '+special resource drop chance' gear being crafted by "players with precision tool knowledge.

While I do agree there should be gear that increases furniture mat drop chance, having one set that increases all drop chances may be too many bonuses in one. Having them separated (and being 5 trait sets) would allow for 2 sets to be equipped (+drop or +specChance or two of one). thus you could make a 'Focused' harvester. Able to excel at acquiring resources from one source, but not from every source. This will allow for variety, and not a simple 'cookie cutter' build. but rather one that is player dependent.

Something like that as a reward from the thieves guild would be really interesting. Perhaps a set that increases the amount of time to open a lock, that increases lockpick durability, or auto-locks in one tumbler when you start.

Expanding upon that concept, perhaps sets that increase the chance of successfully pickpocketing by 5-10% or that increaes sneak speed by a percentage (I do know there is a gear set that removes the sneak speed penalty, as well as the fact that vampires do the same)
