We are currently investigating issues some players are having logging into the European PC/Mac megaserver. We will update as new information becomes available.

You should stop making DLCs and "Chapters" based on previous TES games.

I know thats all there gunna do because they dont wanna spend dev time actually creating content, but its getting to the point were im just gunna declare to myself that none of this game is cannon. Watch the next big area release will be west skyrim. 20 bucks on it.

Considering ESO takes place before all other elder scrolls games what exactly do you expect them to add for future content..
Also the morrowind they are adding is 300 years prior to the morrowind in which some of us played and given that fact there is going to be a stark contrast in what we remember and what we receive.

I'm hoping they switch gears and have a chapter taking place in Middle Earth or a Fallout crossover.

And? We already have Eastmarch and The Rift now. 900 years prior to when TES V takes place. If they added The Reach and Hafingaar (west skyrim fyi) then they'd also be set in the same timeline 900 years before TES V. Considering there are even Reachmen in the game now, this wouldn't even be a big stretch to justify bringing in, so I say they go for it.

I LOVE that the next thing that's coming out is Morrowind. It's been a decade since I played the original, and I can't wait to see what they've done with it.

The quests will be 100% new, so what are you complaining about? Also, every single aspect of the original game would have had to be re-done because of how substandard the graphics were at the time the original was released. (Blocky, robotic faces! Argh!) :D So it was just as much work for them to re-create Morrowind as it would have been if they'd done an entirely new continent.

If you don't like it, don't buy it.

Err, based on previous games? Yes, it takes place on Vvardenfell in the past by many years from the time of Morrowind(SP game). Yes, it includes some characters (long living Vivec) and locales (Vivec city, not yet constructed, and other longstanding settlements). It tells a totally different story that probably involves precisely 0 neraverines.

Would I like future updates to take place in other areas? Yes. I'd love to see more Black Marsh or Elsweyr, or ever more Bosmer stuff to do with their walking tree cities and such.

No matter where they place any DLC, Arena did it first :^)

So let's just avoid entire sections of the map because "it's been done before"?

The content is new and the areas might as well be too considering the fact that this takes place 700-900 years before the events of Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim. Also I'm just going to say it, Zenimax Online Studios is by far more competent than Bethesda Softworks so I want to see "Skyrim done right".

Aka yes avoid content that has already been done. Its not a new zone seeing as they copy and pasted topography from morrowind. Zos is clearly not a better developer than bethesda. Obviously

Are you f***ing kidding me? "it's a hack job because they didn't do the heightmap from scratch"

It has only been 700 years. Go look at Earth 700 years ago. Literally no difference. That's like saying someone shouldn't use a heightmap off Google Maps for real world locations.

The content is new and I don't see how using a heightmap and location (700 hundred years prior to the last time you've seen it) cheapens the expansion in any way, shape or form.

Good luck with that. Every zone has already been done in Arena. Outside of going to other continents there is nothing that hasn't already been done.

You think they just copied the height map? Lol

What else did they copy? A mesh? I doubt even that considering Morrowind's meshes are low poly and wouldn't look good. They're certainly not using textures... or sound... or UI elements so what else is there to copy? The overall theme of Morrowind? As if it Morrowind's entire aesthetic should change for the sake of "newness"? I really don't understand your argument at all.

Again, I don't see how revisiting an area 700 years (in game) and 15 years (real time, relevant to the differences made in technology) since the last time you've seen it cheapens the content being sold.
