None of these options are in my opinion logical.

The price in crowns must apply the amount of crafting bag slots purchased. Another would apply to upgrading later.

The bags if purchased shouldn't be unlimited like eso plus. That where the perk makes sense.

The logic should be something like
    250 crowns -50 slots
    500 crowns - 75 slots
    750 +crowns - 100 slots
1,000 crowns -upgrade 25 slots for each upgrade.

It's gotta be something simple with incentives on eso plus and buying upgrades.

Sorry but this is one of the main perks for subbing to ESO+, aside from the access to dlc, but you can purchase the dlc separately in order to have access to it while not subbed, do this with the crafting bag and there's literally no real reason to subscribe. It should remain as is.

The idea is being proposed because in bold trying use the sub cost as justification is a bit odd as ppl just won't sub and for those saying ZOS needs financial support. Well there's more ppl not subbing than who are and now that chapters aren't included.....many more are dropping subs cause everyone doesn't craft and it makes better sense to just sale mats for gold

Lol again? As a sub it wouldn't bother me for them to sell craft bags to non subs, but they would have to be limited in the number they could hold. The above would be Ok with pricing imho. Now if they offered an unlimited bag to non subs that would be a problem. The only reason I keep eso+ is the bag, the crowns aren't nearly worth it anymore, and the dlc is short, so the only real perk for me is the bag.

This will never happen, since ZOS decided to play fast and loose with the terms 'DLC' and 'Expansion', the only sliver of justification of a sub to this game is the crafting bag.

    Other:

How about just a further bank space upgrade ? When you reach the cap (240 slots) you could just upgrade it almost infinitely.. but for crowns.

This solution could allow people who simply don't have that much time to play to have more storage space but if you can play for example only for a limited number of hours and lets see only in weekends then if you have subscribed to ESO + 90% of that subscription in wasted...

The poll is pointless. Zos has already stated no and it was a good business decision to make it ESO+ exclsuive. It would be an extremely poor business decision for them to offer the crafting bag in any form via the crown store.

    So, it is not happening.

I'd buy it if it was available, but I have no idea how to work out what would be a reasonable price for it.

I think a more sensible way to do it might be to price it like bank slots - 1000 gems for 10 slots of craft bag storage. You can swap round which materials are in there but can never store more than 10. What more space, buy more slots.

As much as I'd love it to be free like Guild Wars 2's crafting bank (with their option to double the default size from cash shop) I wouldn't mind a 1 time of 2500 too much. I prefer buying permanent virtual stuff over renting..

Or they could just make housing more realistic like the Single Player Elder Scroll's/Fallout's/etc's housing and lemmy put items in containers, which would be more entertaining. I liked organizing stuff throughout my house.

From ZoS' pov, it's not a logical step for obvious reasons. From my pov, I'd rather pay a one off payment than a rolling sub fee. I'm strange that way, I like to save money in the long run, so I'm not going to *** on any idea that saves me money.

Out of interest, why do you think it should remain as it is? You'd end up gaining more for a lot less cash in the long run. Like you said, you'd have no need to sub, thus save your cash for other things. Not disputing that it's never gonna happen, just a little perplexed why anyone would prefer the worse option out of two choices put in front of them.

I sub to support the game (aside from spending a little on crowns from time to time, too), so it would be a poor incentive to do so without benefits or perks for subscribing. It's always those that refuse to sub (or can't) that are appalled when ESO+ members are awarded additional benefits for coughing up the money that keeps their beloved game running.

Without perks, it's called 'donation' and not a 'subscription'. ZoS are not here to just do us all a favour and make this game, they are a business and businesses set out to make money.

I don't beilieve I will ever subscribe but from buisness side of view it will be really stupid to change crafting bag and ESO+ connection.

This crafting bag according to polls I saw here brings so much money to ZoS that they don't even care about people complaining on things like broken group finder since homestead launch. Last patch they just rofled on everybody when wrote in patch notes that they fixed only the dogs barking.

ZoS right now can teach anyone how to make money from MMO.

From a good business decision standpoint. You're absolutely correct about it being better for the individual to be able to pay once and get it, but ESO+ doesn't need to go away in my opinion because then they wouldn't be able to support the game as much. I was away for over a year and am amazed at the amount of additional content has been added, if you've been here the entire time I'm sure it doesn't seem nearly as impressive but it's almost overwhelming how much has changed in such a relatively short amount of time.

I will probably be entertained for just about the entire 9 month period that I subbed for upfront, after that I may take another break..who knows. With the ESO+ when I do have time for the game I can support ZOS in their continued effort to add more and more to this great game.

I have the solution, give non-subs the crafting bag with 10 slots and the ability to upgrade it to 100 slots via crowns and then give the ESO+ the free banker follower ;)

The problem with this poll is that the crown numbers do not even get close to the value of the bag. 10000 was as high as it went. I wouldn't sell it for less than US$500.

#1 perk of eso+ for quite a few people. Putting that in the crown store would just be another affront to subscribers.

I disagree. I think from a business standpoint it would be detrimental to keep things as they are.

    Follow me here:
    - We know most don't sub
    - We know many threaten not to sub if AC or Y is or isn't changed each update
    - We know DLC for ESO Plus will only come at most 3 times a year but based on housing, it's twice a year.

    Speculations:
If there are a potential of 8.5 million customers based on purchases. But realistically only 4 million and We know most don't sub so let's give a very generous 40% subscribe

We then have 60% who the company can only make money from chapters and crowns.

    What we do know:
So if crafting bags and other QoL features are why some sub, why wouldn't you try to tap into the other customer base without disrupting the existing subs?

Even if 80% sub, with chapters coming and the ESO Plus feedback thread, changes are coming. Subs will go off and on based on player desires.

    Proposal:

Continue the QoL features of the existing sub and consider feedback changes but move away from a subscription model as a One size fits all cause it doesn't.

Crafting bags - offer in limited quantities by tier and upgrades for real money.

Sale DLC and Chapters bundles that include QoL things like crafting bag slots, and other items in the crown store or soon to be added to the crown store.

Other QoL - continue to offer for real money

While I'm not a fan of all the crown stuff, exclusive pricing, if they continue to try and push the subscription, it's going to limit their customer base.

People will either buy, subscribe or not buy, but eliminating the buyers and forcing them to sub or not sub ends up in loosing a lot of potential customers.

There aren't 4-6 million active players. There are reason why, but some is tied to how they force sub features and lock them behind it.

The crafting bag is the most valuable thing in the game. I don't think they could place a crown cost on it. I should cost about what a house does if they do....Its not a good poll. Doesn't even come close to the value of it.
