Um, not for nothing, but the fact that it's a role-playing game isn't an argument against what @Joy_Division is saying. If you're truly role-playing a character, then you're not going to do anything with that character which would be against that character's nature. If that character is very high-minded and noble, then that character surely wouldn't stoop to murdering innocents.bulbousb16_ESO wrote: »Yes, it is. It's a role-playing game. Really? Awesome. I've been planning on getting some attuned crafting stations for DLC sets (especially IC ones, because it can be a real pain to get to the stations for them even if you have access to the DLC) so that friends and guildies who don't have access to the DLC can use them, but I didn't know for sure if it would work. And I can't buy any attuned stations yet anyway lol...It's been verified that you can use an attuned crafting station for a DLC set even if you don't own the DLC.
The only way people could do that is by getting someone to give them gold first, then put them on the guest list long enough to access the attuned stations, then take them off the guest list after. It's possible, but it's not exactly practical.NewBlacksmurf wrote: »Really? Awesome. Actually, one of the Gold Coast side quests is one of my favorite quests in the game: The Sweetroll Killer! But even though that quest isn't a DB quest, I'm pretty sure you can't unlock it without first doing some DB quests.MarkusLiberty wrote: »You dont have to join the Dark Brotherhood in order to access the crafting stations on the Gold Coast. In fact, there's a ton of content avalible in the DLC that can be done without ever touching the guild questline. Skyshards, dungeons, dailies and lots of minor quests.
I'd just like the blind "accept this writ?" dialogue to be changed. I'd like it to be changed so that the default answer to the question is "no", and I'd like it to be changed to pop up with all of the details for the writ when it asks the question so that you can actually see whether you can do it or not, and so you can decide if you'd prefer to sell it. Instead it asks you without you seeing what the writ actually requires & what the reward is.Want to add to this discussion. Picked up a master blacksmith writ today. Accepted the writ only to find I cannot create the item, because I do not know Aldmeri Dominion style.
Surely there must be a way to prevent players opening writs they're unable to complete.
