I don't like gambling with loot crates...
I also hope there are barriers in place that prevent minors from gambling where laws prohibit.

That said... People that like them can pay for them.

I'd love to see an expanded store with more personality items, adornments and costumes.

I'd also like to see the costume equipment expand so you can mix and match pieces

The current strategy ZOS has been using is to cycle out different crown store items throughout the year rather than keep everything they create up on the store at all times, which would obviously make for a larger crown store. This allows ZOS to have promotions to bring back popular items for a short period of time. It also adds a sense of urgency to purchase an item you like while its still in the store, which likely drives up sales.
I don't always drink Skooma, but when I do I go to the Southwall Corner Club. May you walk on warm sands my friends.

Just wanted to address your concern about minors.

Firstly the game is rated 18+ in Europe, Mature in the USA and presumably has equivalent ratings elsewhere. I'm not sure if this has any legal standing elsewhere but in Europe that means it's actually illegal for under 18s to play it. Of course that doesn't stop anyone but it means parents can't complain if something in the game is inappropriate for their kid because they are legally at fault for allowing them to play it. It'd be like sneaking your kid into a strip club and then complaining that they saw a naked woman.

But secondly gambling laws tend to be very specific. In the UK, the USA and I think most other countries crown crates don't technically qualify as gambling because you are guaranteed to get a prize every single time and you can see what all the prizes are in advance. It's classed the same as those machines where you buy a capsule with a random toy inside or a lucky dip, which obviously kids are allowed to do.
