Could I get a brief response from PC players in relation to how much would it cost to (completely deck out) a manor in CROWNS.

I'm not interested in spending a cent in game gold for housing, and will aim to do it with Crowns. I have 40k at the moment what do you guys think?

Also any update on cost of dummy in crowns?

Prefurnishing is way more bang for your buck than individually buying furniture...

12k crowns for the furnished Serenity Falls Estate, 10k for unfurnished. Robust target skele is 3k crowns, regular target skele is 1.5k crowns. Crafting stations are 3-4k, I think the dye station is 4k crowns.

Yeah I did have a look mate but kinda wanted a perspective on someone with a "design" background I know that sounds so silly lol... but I guess how much you buy is up to that person and what someone may think as beautiful someone else may think as clutter. Yeah last boss final chest, and it was a yellow quality item. Only done one run since homestead so can't confirm if they're regular drops or rare drops.

You could say the exact same thing to people who buy and play The Sims games, and yet those games sell really well. ESO is a jack-of-all-trades game, it tries to appeal to a broad spectrum of players. The sandbox element has always been missing, now it isn't. You don't have to partake in every aspect of the game to get value for money; I've never fished in eso. Housing has just been released, even as a fan of this patch I can admit that it lacks features. I'm sure zos will fill it out in subsequent patches.

This I somewhat agree... I've just been so bloody bored you know? I always had enjoyed housing else where on previous games and I guess like the environment and graphic quality so this is the only thing that's drawn me in so to speak.

Have you ever played an MMO where you truly got bang for your buck on housing? Everything is always pretty expensive and it rarely adds functionality to your gameplay. It really is just a way to avoid having to go into towns for crafting and have something to show off to friends. The only MMO I've played where I can honestly say housing added something to my gameplay was SWG.

+1 ..... played to the end .....

This was the best housing system I have ever played in an MMO .....

There were issues, but I loved owning a plot of land in the game versus an instanced house .....

I spend 28 k crowns on demesne, and furnished it with the most expensive crowm store furnishments. (600/600 item count) 40 k shuld be moooore then enough for one of the notable homes.

Most expensive things are crafting stations, 3000 crowns each, cooking is 2400 and dye 4000. I've spent about 18k crowns on stay moist (large) not including these and have 140 spaces left out of 600.

Some building materials are way cheaper in gold than crowns though, something I found out later.

Wildstar was the best of all time in relation to housing.

Mini games in your instance (developer mini games) pretty damn amazing
Growing food
(mines) - for ore farming daily (high rate of good material)
The ability to be purely creative (proper building blocks) to let your mind run wild.
Teleport pads to unusual locations around the world
Bank

Don't get me wrong I'll be jumping on the ESO housing train also, but it just feels a little vanilla.

Ultima Online had the best housing.

loads of storage, plus guild abilities.

also the fact you had to GET a parcel of Land before you could place anything.

(I really miss selling houses on ebay lol)

Depends on you. E.g. Crafting stations are like 3k each if you want to fill everything up it's easily going to cost you 20k+ on that alone. If you're like me and rather furnish everything yourself it could cost pretty much 0 crowns.
