I do understand why people would find it creepy, especially if they just stand there. But your characters exist in this world and there isn't really a reason for them to not ever see each other, in terms of the lore. Unless you are RPing as a being that is genuinely controlling each one and only one can exist at a time.

I think as long as they can walk around a bit and act as NPCS, then it won't seem like they are creepy puppets

I thought of this and came in here to see if anyone else had!
In my head-cannon my alts are all in the same "Guild" with Thythis as their dogsbody.
I would love for them to just be sleeping in their beds, or sitting, or standing idle in our small guild hall.

I think this is a great idea. You could take pride in your character roster and make your homes feel more lively. Like having your family stay with you.

After having experienced homestead for a little while now, I still think this is a good idea. Its also a great way to have your alts in the same place, as I find I am logging them out in my house anyway.

I was also thinking it would be great to see how much gold you have on your alts, it should be something on the character screen, but its not, so this would be another way.

I really think this would be an awesome way of bringing life to your home, having your characters wandering around it, interacting with things.

Well... maybe not all.. maybe with some limit like 1 per small, 2 per medium and 3 per large house ?
Or better yet - don't give it as a option and instead add some way to access your others character inventory through some in-house interactive item.
