Is there a fix for the neverending load screen yet?

Like the title says, cant get to the character select screen. Just keeps loading and loading.

Alt-F4 or Quit if on console, go back in. If it continues, reboot. If that doesn't fix it, Panic.

well, i'm on PC, i've rebooted and repaired and all, nothing seems to work.

It's very unusual that you can't reach the character screen. I've heard of long loading times when in-game but not when loading ESO up. Is there perhaps a firewall blocking access in the background that you are unaware of?

no, firewall is good on it, it started happening since the patch a day or 2 ago. I've seen some other people post about it with the same problem

i have this each time after a maintenance or a patch. Just keep trying to log in. After two handful of attempts it usually works for me.

It's a bit like trying to dig through under a wall. No idea what's causing it though.

well, i am going through a second repair for the night in hopes that the infinite loading screens i keep getting (three so far I have waited on) will eventually let me see my character select screen.

I only have an infinite load screen if I leave my house by the door.

I picked my houses for the location.. and now I can't use that feature
