Pick up some good set items from the regional vendor in Cyrodiil for 5K AP per box. Sell any BIS trait items you get on a vendor, a sharpened spriggan or spinner sword is worth over 200K.

Ep style material sells well. Motifs? Also relevant gold jewelry from vendor. Like gold necro rings are selling for a good 170k gold each right now on PS4. The best way though is to advertise your AP in zone/guild chat. That way you won't waste AP on things no one will buy

I forgot they added this. The vendor is located at one of the alliance gates?

For D.C. It's the north gate, where the tent shops are, I have no idea about the others. I've made 100K or so off of divines and impen pieces of spinner.

The more we put on the market the cheaper this stuff is for everyone, and only greedy PVE farmers lose out. I love that we have access to this now.

weekly vendor probably your best change, but not reliable and a bit risky.
You need a set in demand which only happens every couple of weeks.
Next, you buy several rings / necks for 500k AP each.

If you sell them right way, prices aren't as good and probably around 120k gold each.
If you wait a few weeks and 1) the set stays in fashion (here's your risk) and deson't show up again at the vendor, you can sell them for ~200k each. That's a very good ratio.

Alternatively, you can buy gamble-boxes. But you also have to sell mediocre stuff (for something like 1-3k gold). Just hoping for the big 150k+ things isn't worth it. Thus, this is tedious and requries many slots in trading guilds but if you'd really sell anything worth 1k+ (personally, I'd go insane and think my time would be much better spent farming mats or doing crafting dailies on many chars), the AP->Gold ratio is probably very very good too.

If you're lazy, buy akaviri motifs. The ratio is far worse but with very little time and trading guild slots invested, you can turn AP into gold. Especially these days where more motifs -> better chance for master writs.

    This is for PC EU:

Don't buy the regional boxes. Unless you have more than like 10 possible items that will bring in cash, it is a bad bet. Very short; If you are looking for ONE specific item, like Sharp Spinner Sword, you will spend on average 2.000.000 AP on it. I am here ignoring small-income items, that could net you 500g or 1kg. Because who wants to have that stuff piling up in guildstore.

BEST current way of converting AP is through golden vendor Jewelry. These can be sold in Zone for 1:3 AP conversion. Which means you can sell 500k AP jewlery for app. 170k Gold. I did this for 2 x Necropotence when they were on a week or two ago.

Stylemats (Alliance) is roughly 7:1 or thereabouts (1k-1.5k Gold for 10k AP.

Akaviri could be an option again, since there might be more demand with master writs. But usually, they give 5:1. Meaning you will get 100k Gold for a 500k AP motif. So for "anytime" conversion, these are still the "go-to".

Personally i dont convert anything worse than 3:1.

The good thing about both Akaviri and the Golden Vendor is, that you can advertize in Zonechat without having the item. So there is almost no risk involved.
