Me and my friend started playing ESO both around last week. He hit 50 a couple days ago I just hit 50. Thing is when he hit 50 he had over 4 mil of enlightenment and skyrocketed to CP and I only got like 400k of enlightenment which got me to cp 20 and stopped. What kind of BS is this?

    Not BS, u get 400k enlightenment every day, it stacks up to 4,8mil (12 days). If he waited u to get 50 he probably got a lot of stacked xp, and now he leveled faster.

    Enlightenment is only awarded once per 24 hours and can be stockpiled up to 12 days worth. He will have had more opportunity to gain enlightenment while he was 50 and you were not.

    Also, could he have had a character at level 50 already that has been earning him enlightenment?

    The first time you hit level 50, you are awarded 4.8 million enlightenment which will carry you to about cp 100.

    In addition, every single day you are awarded 400k enlightenment, although never going over the 4.8 million cap.

    Either this isn't your first character at cp levels, or you have more enlightenment than you think.

    That's what I was wondering. CP and enlightenment are shared across characters, account-wide. If he previously had a character above level 50, even if it was three years ago... that enlightment would have still been there.

    yes, it was green and told me how much xp i had with enlightenment, when i hit like cp 20 it turned blue and doesn't say i have it.

    The green,blue, red just means what point in champion u are getting next. The enlightenment has a text and says the exp when u hover on the bar.

    How long did he have his account before he hit lvl 50 and how long did you have yours till you hit lvl 50?

    All my accounts have gotten the 4.8m once they hit 50 but all of them took longer than 12 days to hit level 50, so I have always just assumed you build enlightenment even before you cross the 50 threshold and are able to use it. So someone leveling to 50 on their first day would only have 400k enlightenment, where as someone who took their time would be dependent on how many days it took(up to 12). I have always wanted to test this, but don't really want to waste the time grinding to 50 in a day on a new account.

    Can confirm, recently hit level 50, got 4 million enlightenment. Took me to about CP 80-90.

    Yes, my brother just made a new account and the second he got to level 50 he did a random normal during new year event and got to cp 35 instantly. He didn't run out of enlightenment until he hit cp 100 about 3 days later.

    Cp is rather simple to obtain. By the time you find a solution in the thread and support gets back to you, you could be over cp100.

    Pick your battles, simply put, you're wasting your time...

    Kids these days... Back in the old days you got jacksht and was happy to gain 2-3 points a day. Now you go to a 10 minute random dungeon and jump ahead by 10cps. Spoiled generation...
