I think the bigger the homes the bigger the perks. Gives incentives to save up gold or crowns to buy them. Every day at reset for larger homes there should be nodes equal to that of survey maps. Or at least a delivery waiting for you of materials scaled in number to the level of home you have purchased.
Also I think everyone will love this idea but npcs that you can pay with telvar, gold, ap to farm resources for you. For 1 hour 6 hours 12 hours 18 hours 24 hours based on how much you pay. These npcs can be set to farm ore cloth leather and wood alchemy ingredients food and glyphs. It would reward both players being that they could use either currency. Boosters collected from bosses and rewards of the worthy could be given to said npcs to increase net gain. It would give reason for players to leave pvp and dungeons to go collect thier shipments.
Also other features that could be given is npc that give perks that give bonuses to gold found Resources discovered, rare loot drop chance, and for pvp I'm sure everyone would love an ap boost from sleeping in their home for a set amount of hours. These boosts aren't game breaking and they give real use out of homes.
Storage space added in proportion to the magnitude of the home you bought. I think that it should be a single buff that increases based on the highest tier home you own. So no stacking storage for every apartment you own. Just your largest home. That would incentivize buying bigger homes.
Improvements that would be great is if merchant is placed in home she becomes a full merchant repairing armor. She's no longer traveling so she should be rested up. Pets should be put in the same animation cycles as thier wild counterparts ( lions sleeping roaring) cats wandering around and being on top of furniture. Horses grazing on a tuft of grass. Etc etc
Let me know what you think.
