I get that they shouldn't pick apart an xpac like that but some of the people here seemingly cannot read at all, he isn't saying give it to me for free he's saying put it up on the crown store so he can pay for just the class as Morrowind has no other pull to him. Am I the only one who can see this or something? o.O
I don't think this is an unreasonable request. For those complaining about people wanting things for free I suggest you re-read the original post. The OP is not asking for the warden to be free, only to be able to buy it separately from a bunch of stuff they don't want.
ZOS are perfectly capable of splitting the expansion up and selling us each bit separately. They used to sell the Imperial upgrade, the palomino horse and I think some other stuff through the website so the tech is actually there already. And I think it's completely understandable that people would like to be able to buy things they want without things they don't want. If they gave us the choice I'd like a slightly cheaper Collectors Edition with the armoured horse, spider pet and grey bear but without the emotes because I'll probably never use them.
But I'm certain ZOS haven't just forgotten that they can sell small upgrades individually. They will have made a deliberate decision to package it all together as an expansion, for a variety of reasons which may well include requiring players to buy it all to get the part/s they want. So it's highly unlikely they're going to offer the option to get it separately.
If you're willing to wait (and you don't want the pre-order bonuses) the best option is to wait until 6 months or so after the expansion is released and then look on trustworthy 3rd party sites like Amazon. You'll probably be able to find a copy for far less than the current price. And that comes to basically the same thing - you still get the stuff you don't want, but you're not paying for it.
I personally have zero interest in PvE or instanced PvP. So the new xpac doesn't provide much value for me. The Warden class, however, looks good.
At some point, maybe 6 months after the xpac's release it would be nice if just the Warden class was made available for purchase in the crown store. There is a precedent, The Lord of the Rings Online sells their expansion classes (one of whom also happens to be named the Warden) in the cash shop, and it seems to work fine.
I realize there was a whole debate about what is, and what is not, DLC, but I don't think ZOS can capture customers like me unless they do something like this.

I don't think you know what that means....
No way play to win. Legion brought Demon Hunters, you bought the expac to use it... so is WoW now play to win??
I know we hate talking about them, but come on! This PTW stuff gets throw around and misused constantly.
Riding lessons are PTW
I ride faster - get to the location faster - kill boss faster - faster xp - max level faster - PTW confirmed.
For all we know the class might be overpowered as hell, kind of like how vampires used to be when the game launched and it took well over a month for ZOS to even do anything about it.TX12001rwb17_ESO wrote: »What they should do is make the class a part of the base game patch as this strictly effects combat otherwise it is going to be PAY TO WIN.
So you WIN if you have the Warden Class?
