A Bookshelf's Purpose

...is to store books for future reading purposes. Unfortunately, I seem unable to place my books in any of the bookshelves so that they can be interacted with, because the item boundaries are wonky and the books are technically "inside" of the bookshelf. This is pretty disappointing, as I have no way to create a proper library in my home to show off the books that I've collected and paid for. I wish bookshelves were more like the ones in Skyrim, where you interact with the shelf and can place the books inside it, rather than physically placing them there. Is this going to be addressed at any point?

ZOS data shows only 0.0000% of characters have read every book. So this was something they felt wasn't needed. /s

this is exactly what just happened to me as well.
the books i have able to place are readable by others, yet as soon as i put into the book shelf, [which takes a bit of time and is tedious] the books become unreadable.

    As I mentioned elsewhere:
I want bookshelves that have an "inventory" option so you can place furniture-books inside them, then place the "filled" bookcase as one object, and have the books (and other stuff that might fit in a bookcase - scrolls, potion bottles, skulls, etc.) auto-placed neatly in the shelving, while remianing individually readable (because trying to do that by hand is night impossible and a huge pain in the a... uhm... posterior. Also look meh.)

I'm not saying that every book should be available (although there are some that I would love to be able to put in my house). I'm bringing attention to the fact that the mages' guild books that I paid thousands of gold to buy for display in my house can't be interacted with when actually placed on a bookshelf in-game. It's a small thing, but I think it needs to be addressed.

    *edit*
For those who aren't aware, Mages' Guild books that you buy are supposed to be interactable and be read by anyone who chooses to interact with them. When you go to place them, they will glow green to show that they are interactable in that position. In spite of this, we are currently unable to interact with a book placed in a bookshelf, even if it glows green.

Is there a specific part of the forum I should go to so this can get noticed? I don't navigate the forums very well :p but I'd love to bump that thread.

If was to be cynical, I'd say post it in a thread entitled "Interesting Ideas for the Crown Store"
