So Magika builds are pretty powerful this time around I see
In PvE, we're pretty much back to Skirts and Staves Online, as many people called it. Stamina builds just can't keep up with Magicka builds at all in dungeons and raids.

In PvP, however, it's somewhat of a different story. Stamina absolutely dominates small scale PvP. Zerging tends to lend itself better to Magicka builds with their awesome AoE, but the crazy burst combos that Stamina characters can pull in PvP are downright scary.

Yeah, until I'm CP 200 or so I won't be dabbling too much in PvP. I just need to get to assault lvl 6 for my vigor and caltrops. The PvP grind is unreal though!

Magicka characters are far more fun to play because you can use more of the class skills compared to relying mostly on weapon attacks(or proc sets) like stamina

I rarely played PvP. I have maybe 3 hours invested and I'm still at lvl 4. two more levels and I have Vigor and Caltrops.

    Argonian.

Argonians and khajiit are obviously the best races in the game. If you want to go melee/stamina, you pick khajiit. If you want to go healer/magicka, you pick argonian.

They have tails, that automatically makes them better than any man or mer.

I concur. The magic; is in the tail.

Currently I have only created my Bosmer Stamblade. So Stam and Melee is the only way I know how to play at this time.

What kind of pointers or tips can you give me for this kind of transition?
What do I have to look forward to?

How do all of the buffs workout and everything to combat that; or will I be relying on food, potions and healers?

I would make a mag dk or mag sorc they are pulling the highest DPS parses atm in trials. i have both but i always favor the mag dk more, it just seems a lot more fun to play as you get a ton of skills to choose from where mag sorcs dont have much wiggle room on there bars.

If you make a mag dk make sure its a dark elf as they synergize the best because you get bonus damage to fire and you also get fire resist which helps since you want to be a vampire too.

magplar got hit by homestead pretty bad and have fallen behind sorc and dk in PVE

Awesome. I ran through the Hel Ra trial. That crap is ridiculous! So many mechanics all I want to do is be able to lead a group in. Not necessarily tank it but just go in and do damage while maintaining resources.
I have heard much surrounding the magDK .Heard that it wasn't optimal etc, but if it works in Trials I am all for it.

yea its the easiest trial too lol....you have to get in the mindset of max DPS while maintaining resources but never focus on just maintaining. magicka builds have a hard time in resource management but in a trial group healers run ele drain and magic balls which help.

not sure who you talk to about mag dk's not being optimal, that is very wrong. In homestead patch especially they are hitting massive dps numbers. i will say that the learning curve is a bit more on a mag dk which is why i think they are so fun to play because it takes practice to get down and they are unique from other magicka builds.

im telling ya you will be happy with a mag dk.
