I feel that dodge roll and break free should be optional for magicka builds to be able to utilize their magicka pool to perform.

Stamina players are able to dodge roll for days, break free out of my holds constantly, because they have a greater stamina pool to utilize.

To where I can dodge roll or break free maybe twice.

These two actions are very very important in PVP, and I feel as though magicka users should have the option to be able to use their great skills as a mage to perform them.

Roll dodge spam is kind of the advantage that Stamina builds get to compensate for their poor build diversity. Letting Magicka builds take full advantage of that as well would break down the already crumbling balance between them.

Stamina builds also draw on that pool for their attacks and heals, and the MagDK at least can immobilize them for days. Im not trying to support stamina builds though.

But then what would you use your stam pool for? I'm opposed to making mag and stam mirror images of each other, I like the unique differences between them. Sounds like the spectre's eye set might interest you if you want to spend magicka dodging stuff.

Perhaps adjust your build for PVP. Stamina builds do that for Magicka considering most of the best utility skills cost it.

Even better. if you aren't using it slot siphoning attacks. You can basically block every cc except fear and fossilized, I play magblade as well siphoning attacks makes it to were even if you take a cc your stamina will be full before you can be CC'd again. In cyrodiil I run around with 9k stamina and do perfectly fine playing solo. The only thing is with all the talons and encase spam you really need to play with mist form as well. Even siphoning attacks won't save you from root spam

Blur, Cloak, Siphoning Attacks, Elusive Mist... You've still got plenty of options to avoid and mitigate damage or sustain your stamina pool.

Stamina builds use stamina to block and roll dodge.

Magicka builds use magicka to shield.

If anything, in a trial, shields are way better than trying to block.

Magsorc has streak. Magplar has cleanse. Magblade has cloak and shadow image. Magdk is already tanky af. All mag classes have access to wards and especially Elusive Mist.

So, you don't dodge roll/breakfree as a mage, you streak, clease, cloak, use shadow image, cast ward, and especially Elusive Mist. Also, you can block with a ice staff.

You just need to learn more about the game mechanics

You have these options:
Slot dark deal
Slot elusive mist
Use 2x monsterhelm peices that add 126 stam recovery each
Use Amberplasm
Use tri pots to give you back stam plus stam recovery when needed

Personally I just use dark deal and pretty much use it every time I break free. I believe zos increased the cc immunity time which helps a lot as well.

I just need amberplasm necklace then I will try that set properly as well.

I play my sorc more than ever now and this is a pet build, and I can tell you in PVP shes pretty tanky. To be honest I think Sorc's are pretty tough as it is, however I have to admit that if I'm stunned that's it, I can't get up... and I am easy pickings! BUT this is rare, and only if I'm totally out of magika and I have no shields I can stick up.

magicka build have the upper hand in a lot of cases that would kill stam builds in pvp there would be no reason to be one. they already lack in pve.
