What do I do with all this equipment that fills up my inventory

Sell it or break it down. Its mostly green stuff and a few blue things. But it sure adds up fast. Every quest you do seems to add a new piece of equipment. Usually somethg you cannot use to your inventory.

In the beginning I break everything down to level crafting on my characters. Once they are crafting level 50, I often sell the lesser white/green items to merchants, and break the other stuff down for the refine materials.

Sounds like a good plan. Thanks for the advice.

I broke everything down until I reached max level in crafts, now I just vendor for gold the items that are worthless (ie: not Guild Trader-worthy).

I break down the white, green and some of the blue for the most part. Sometimes I sell it if I need gold. Provisioning is a great way to make gold a bit at a time if that strikes your fancy. It levels quickly and I never buy provisioning items. I find them all so it's pretty much 100% profit!

Learn which sets are in demand and upgrade to purple and sell in guild store=fast gold. Decon/research everything else.

Check for researchabe traits before you do anything, research as applicable.

Breakdown green, blue, purple, and yellow items you don't want to get the crafting upgrade materials from them. Breakdown intricate items for the boost to your crafting skill lines.

Sell white items unless they're intricate. Always sell ornate items.

    Profit.

Be sure to research any non-set items.

I sell white items and items with no trait, then store the rest in my bank for my alts to deconstruct to level up their crafting.

Research traits you dont have, then sell white and green, and decon blue and purple. That's what I do.
