FPS drop since Homestead patch

Chazaquiel
Been on the game for a couple of months, on laptop.
Max settings, always ran nice and smooth. Only exception was when battery got low, then fps dropped in busy cities.

Since patch, game is pretty unplayable in combat because the fps is so bad, and low fps at all times, whether in a big city or out in the middle of nowhere.
Adjusted settings to run smooth again, but obviously I lose a bit in quality, which should not be a result of adding houses to the game.

Exact same problem here. The game is completely unplayable for me now, gave up after trying to do one daily quest.

Same here, sometimes the game just crashes because of a huge FPS drop.

Yes I got the same issue and two more people from my guilt (but they are lazy to read forum) got it too. Low FPS no matter in or out Cyrodill. It happened after the update. I can only get a decent FPS if I play all low and 300x200 Screen.

I'm glad I don't have to play a rent for this game.

i basically turned everything to low and the frames per second still hit around 15-19 makes me sick to play. if it isn't fixed soon i am dumping my sub .I just ordered a new rig maybe that will help but since its affecting others it probably isn't me.

I also noticed that the "stuttering" issue, i.e. screen freezes for a fraction of a second, every 1-2 seconds, has become much worse with the last patch.

So far this issue only existed when I had lots of plugins loaded, especially Master Merchant. Now, even with a minimum set of plugins, or no plugins at all, after about 10-15 minutes of gameplay the stuttering begins, and I have to /reloadui.
    Kind regards,

I had to turn all my graphics settings down a few months ago after one of the emergency weekend maintenances, 'cause the FPS drop on high was unbearable.

I'm going to try fiddling with ini tweaks, but I'm not holding my breath; I cannot go much lower than low, so it's basically unplayable for me at the moment.

Just the exact thing, you can see it clearly if you wear ebon set, the red lights just stops each 3 seconds.

I just fixed it uninstalling godsend addon, the problem is something related to addons or a combination of addons, try to uninstall some of them, MM runs just fine for me.

After a couple of hours on game after downloading today's maintenance patch, the issue seems resolved for me.
My FPS is back to the nice smoothness it was before the Homestead release.
