I'll commend you on the making of the video, but not the content as this is a dps with heavy armor for survivability. Using one taunt in a rotation with all dps abilities is not tanking. But I have yet to make a video, so /bow to you.
I have a dk magicka flame self heal tank. None of my abilities focus on how much damage I do, it's all about helping the dps do their job and do more damage while not only grouping adds up, but keeping them grouped and making sure the team doesn't take unnecessary damage and everything is focused on me.
First, sword and board is not the norm, it's the mandatory. First, the Piercing ability is not only a taunt, it lowers the physical and spell resistance of an enemy by 5,000. Think of what a dps could do with that added debuff. Second, Absorb Magic ability is a necessity for hard vet dungeons or trials as not only does everything magic wise thrown at you heal you, but it gives you an additional 8% blocked damage just when on the bar. Third, sword and board are 2 items and thus you can go with a 5 set of Tavas, 5 set of Akaviri and Bloodspawn monster helm set all together. I do Tavas, Bloodspawn and Plague Doctor if I need the health cause the healer is low cp. The possibilities are endless.
Second, abilities. All the abilities you need, you don't have. Chains to pull them together, Eruption for the movement decrease, Talons to lock them in place, Deep Breath for spell and charge attack interruptions as well as self heal, Burning Embers for the best self heal in the game, Igneous Shield for the PLUS 25% heals to the group (also shields the group with a health shield AND gives you stamina back each time you cast it). At least you have Volitale Armor, but that only gets you 5k in resistances and you're at 22k, so that still puts you at only 27k, which is 6k shy of cap..... and where oh where is Aggressive Warhorn?
Like I said, it's a good video on dps with heavy armor. I like the inner light on both bars, I do that too.
But for pure dps in light armor, try also putting molten whip on both bars, Igneous Weapon for the crit buff, and rearming trap. Yes, Rearming trap is a fighter stamina skill but you only need it for the 12% boost in damage. Also, I know most will chuckle, but try dps with sword and board. It allows 5 piece Julianos, 5 piece Burning Spellweave and Valkria Skoria monster helm all together. Your spammable becomes the whip, so you won't be using the sword for anything but light weave, and the shield gets you much needed physical resistance if you're all light, one medium, one heavy. Just try it. I think my spell damage is like 2,800 and my crit is 61%. If you pop Igneous weapons and rearming trap the damage is like 3,200 and when Burning Spellweave procs, whoa nelly.
