Surprise Attack vs Deep Slash

Between using deep slash to reduce damage on a mob of enemies, and using suprise attack to inflict Major Fracture on an enemy, what is your preferred ability to use?

MalakithAlamahdi✭✭✭✭✭Depends. For damage I would use surprise attack, but deep slash is an amazing skill when you are the tank or try to support.5
