Housing storage idea: Attuned Chests

An idea that's been in my head since launch. Attuned chests will change into a chest that can only hold items from the set first placed into them i.e. BSW. This would allow us to craft or buy storage that would also keep our stuff organized. So ZOS how about it?

ZOS, won't add storage space at least for a few months.

I understand their decision, people want more space and not pay gold for it.

Where did you get this number?

    Baskin Robbins always finds out.

Well an fully upgraded bank is halfway between an medium and large house or over 700K.
An bank alt if pretty free, the first upgrades are cheap
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

The only thing that ZOS probably can do (but I doubt they will) is to make a craftable weapon / armour rack - 1 weapon / armour per furniture.
And even if it will be in game it will probably have like limitation.. example:
1 weapon / armour rack per small house, 2 per medium and 3 per mansion.

But either way - ZOS needs people to use eso+ for crafting bag. So I rather think that even if you will be able to add some kind of storage in houses - it will be only available for crowns, unfortunately

I would like instead to get chests where if we hover the mouse over it it lists whats in it in a little pop-up.
So then instead of "attuning it" you walk up load only BSW into it and then when you come back as you put your mouse over it to click... you see the list of BSW and viola!

i also want the mannequin/racks to allow loading the normal 14 slots plus 8 quickslots of gear on them, give it a name or hover-list and let us swap it with what we wear in a click-click.

i am with you that we need more ways to organize and effectively use inventory.

I doubt there will ever be sufficient "extra slots" added to satisfy some. Saw someone asking for a 2500 slot crate to load into houses. guess they want their free apartment to make all other storage options obsolete overnight.

I am glad they did not rush in a minimal few extra slots storage to beat the deadline. i want better storage not more and that would not have happened.

meanwhile, my three craft stations are saving me time while i work my way up to the attuned ones.

I love all these statistics...these really shouldnt be the numbers to go by when making decisions. Just like when they changed enchanting nodes because their numbers showed most players didnt have enchanted weapons...i mean...where do these statistics come from???

They will add storage for crowns, this was just their excuse for excluding the feature saying people haven't upgraded personal storage...

I want bookshelves that have an "inventory" option so you can place furniture-books inside them, then place the "filled" bookcase as one object, and have the books (and other stuff that might fit in a bookcase - scrolls, potion bottles, skulls, etc.) auto-placed neatly in the shelving, while remianing individually readable (because trying to do that by hand is night impossible and a huge pain in the a... uhm... posterior. Also look meh.)

I want armor stands that have an "inventory" option in which you can place a whole set to display, then place the whole armored stand as one object.

I want weapon racks that have a couple slots for weapons to be displaced, and then again can be placed as one object.

I want an beverage barrel that dispenses drinks to everyone, even visitors, for hospitality reasons. To be filled with crafted drinks as the homeowner chooses.

I want pets to be more active, run around and so on...

I want alchemy harvestable plants for my garden or flowerpots, which give one daily ingredient (I'd totally plant me some nightshade!)

I want all the fireplaces to be cooking-enabled. It just seems wrong to jump through extra loops just to be able to cook your dinner at your home...

I want beds to be interactable too, and have a nice sleeping animation sequence (as in, not a static animation, but a more involved one, tossing around a little, mumbling in your sleep, etc.)

I want interactable bathtubs with a "bathing" animation. And more interactable furniture in general, really. Just for fun and roleplay.

I want a small corner shrine for every power, divine or deadra, tribunal or whatever, so no house has to be without the blessing of whoever the owner likes to worship (maybe a generic shrine, and then add diety rune in inventory? Like the display pieces?)

I want cobwebs! With the occasional small sipder! Not everyone is cleaning all the time... (might be especially important for vampire housing, right?)
