This build is called the Pale Nerd

    Imperial hybrid Warden vampire

    Pellinal's Aptitude crafted set
Vapire Lord's set for more vampire power

Using the new "1 handed plus rune" hybrid style of course

Slotted (1) insect swarm DoT (2) exploding healing seed synergy thing (3) teleportation trap (4) netch to restore resources (5) group speed buff ice rink thing (ultimate) clouding swarm in its new teleporting to enemies incarnation

off bar ice staff for magicka blocking with (1) ice shield thing (2) vampire's invigorating drain (3) gap-closing teleport heal thing (4) summon cliff racer damage cone (5) snare brambles (ultimate) eye of the storm mostly to get the destro passive you need a destro skill slotted to get now

Just remember someday when you're all using this that I introduced you to the new meta first!

2x Iceheart, 5x Winterborn, and anything else as long as you equip an Ice Staff.

Lots of fun to play and easy to acquire (normal/vet Maelstrom Arena and Direfrost Keep). Only the Iceheart shoulder may be diffcult to acquire due to RNG.

Ice Mages are a lot of fun!

Yes they are. I do wish ice heart was more.... Impressive. I am just happy the warden is coming. I've always been about the ice. I play Sub zero in MK, all my water pokemon know ice beam damn it and shoot in those Men games I was ICEMAN.

    I like my bosmer sorchealer,

Able to use stamina support skills like bone shield, and circle of protection often and still different and break free.

Some fun moments hoping and placing circle of protection.

I believe this healer is balanced compared to its altmer brothers or Templar cousins.

Also feels fun to solo with pets. Sometimes even get bug pet.

My main is a NB Ranger/Thief build - I'm sure some players would think it's hilarious but I care more about character than "meta". I only use 1 or 2 of the NB skills. I do Night's Silence for the full speed stealth, then some pieces for squish (witchman, werewolf hide). I have fun with her and that's what matters. :)

Well, that is certainly something I've never seen. What's the CP allocation?

I made my gatherer build yesterday.

    5 jailbreaker
    5 fiord legacy

    windrunner passive
    the steed mundus

    10% (jailbreaker) + 2% (wind runner) + 5% (steed) + 15% sprint speed (fiord)

I'm so speeeeedy! I'm picking up all the bast! & heartwood!

I was using ice furnace + Winterborn for a while there.
Yeah, was not great if I'm honest.

For the occasional pve I do my favourite is dreug king for the speed burst and with dark stalker or nights silence to compliment it's so much fun :)

It's a leak to a Russian fan site.

You would have loved scroll runner builds back in the day with Fiord's and Rapids and potions of speed when they all stacked. It's the reason I've had a stam sorc orc since way before they were good.

Build for max magic on a mag sorc, use Necropotence, Will Power, and 2 seperate monster helm pieces that both give max magic for 1 piece. Master Destro if you got it, otherwise any destro will do.

Get the mage Mundus, and enjoy playing with mega shields and a pet that actually hits hard, because their damage scales off your max magicka.

Definitely not end game, but fun to play with.

    totally agree.

this type of setup is a total blast to play.

I am exactly the same! In any game I always use Ice Magic.

For example in Diablo 3, I chose the Wizard and only used Ice-based abilities.

I hoped that ESO would be more free with this stuff. Diablo gave you 5 morphs per skill that changed functionality and damage type. I can easily see ESO adding morphs to change the damage types of many skills just to promote different elemental-based playstyles. Numerous games have looked to decisions that Diablo made and nearly copied them to drastically improve themselves.

Looks like Warden is as close as we'll get to Ice Mages though and I look forward to it!

Or you find a group that cares more about fun than the optimal efficiency.

The Guild I am in has all kinds of non-meta builds going on, and if we want to group up we do - if we fail, we have a quick convo on how we can improve and try again.

I sincerely wish I could find groups like that. I don't think I've come across anyone who really just wants to play for fun rather than min maxing since the few people I used to play with, stopped playing :disappointed:

Played around with my Storm Sorc

    5 Overwhelming Surge
    5 Thunderbug
    Stormfist Helm and shoulders.

Used Hurricane as it's looks cooler with all the lightning flying everywhere. It's actually surprisingly good against Mobs as well.

Magic sustain is terrible though so be warned. As I'm using Dual wield and S&B so no way of getting Magic back outside of potions.

It's fun does a fair bit of damage to mobs, not great single target, but looks fantastic.

Started playing around with a StamSorc Lightning Tank...

5x Storm Knight - non physical damage taken procs lightning damage in an AoE
5x Thunderbug - physical damage taken procs lightning damage in an AoE
2x Stormfist - damage dealt procs lightning damage in AoE

It may not be the optimal build, but it is a heck of a lot of fun to play. Probably not the best thing to run on a slower computer. Lots of graphical fun.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis
