Different content and different roles

With the way how sets, chamipion points and classes are spec'ed out, is there any chance we can get new group content that does not require the traditional roles?

Most players can self heal, deal damage, mitigate damage and sustain. I would like to see some group content that is geared for a all around player experience.

    Hmm hope i understood you correct for. All ingame group instances are already capable for what you are saying . For instance - Healer is tanking on the last boss.

    Incorrect. Running vet dungeons and trials requires some players to be spec'd to a specific role. Throwing recovery, sustain, damage etc. Out the window.

    I would like to see group content added where players are gonna be grouped up at parts and separated at parts. That way they have to be able to self heal, sustain, deal damage, etc....

    PvP zones and the soon-to-be added battlegrounds sound like the best place for that type of content.

    PvE-wise, you're looking at Dolmens, delves, and public dungeons. That's about as close as you're going to get to the more, um, "relaxed, do what I want with my build" content.

    You can get away with it to some degree in Normal mode dungeons. Just hope people don't pick you out as the one "slowing them down".

    Otherwise, pulling that off in non-normal dungeons is going to require you to be running the top-of-line gear with a well calculated hybrid build. It will also help to have a group that knows what they're doing.
