Been watching a lot of streams lately and starting to get the bug on coming back to TESO. Its been awhile since I played, was before Imperial City. So with all that said I'm curious what day to day life is for people playing TESO? What are the must do day to day, week to week things? Really just trying to figure out where to start with this game. Seems like a whole new game with all the dlc's heh.

It is snd better then ever. Still buggy here and there and has performance issues but game as a whole is strong. They have redone the vet system so now after 50, your highest champion chatacter will determine the level of the rest. For example you mained a vet (12 or 120 now) all your characters will be 120. Champion points are much easier to get now to helping you reach the cap. Currently 561 on console.

My day to day.. log on and check the map. If were winning in PvP i do my crafting writs. Then maybe daily dungeons and soend the rest of the time in Cyrodill. Trials / dueling tournaments once a week. Lots of Fun.

    How many dailies are there?

plenty dailies in orsinium, even more in craglorn, also thief guild dailies in hew's bane and dark brotherhood dailies in the gold coast. hmm dailies have also been added to the undaunted, mages guild and fighters guild. there are more, but those are just of the top pf my head

Oh geez. For starters there are three dungeon undaunted dailes. Then an undaunted quest daily. Those are the ones im reffering to. But there are also craglorn dailes, and dailies in the dlc areas that reward motifs and such. Two in wrothgar, two in hews bane plus the brotherhood daily assasination thing, two in abahs watch plus the daily stealing thing for thieves guild, mage guild dailies and fighters guild daily. And I think thay covers it. Other then the dailies in the PvP towns and Imperial City zone dailies.

Wow lots of dailies hah. Wanting to get back into a viable pvp position. Guess I gotta figure out what to farm over and over again to get geared up. My crafters are maxed minus a few nirn missing so unless they added new stuff like that I should be good on the crafting front.

Sooooo how is the strength of a dungeon picked now with 50 being just it?

50 is your level, but vet ranks were scrapped and replaced by champion rank. Everyone since One Tamriel is battle leveled to 160 champion point (vet 16 essentially) if you dont have 160 or more cps. So they raise your stats the lower off you are to bring you up to par with the content.

The dungeons no longer scale to the group leader, the lower players are battle leveled up to the dungeon. Same for every zone in overland or trial or even in pvp. Thats basically where dungeons go up to. All of them are pretty easy with the exception of the last 4 DLC ones. They are a bit tricker but still not that difficult as long as your not doing vet hard mode. Theyve redone the dungeons so each one has a normal and vet option. And on vet, you can choose to read the scroll on the last boss and complete it in hard mode.

PvP is fun, but can be challenging. Now more then ever. Not as much ganking going on, but proc sets have really changed things. Allows players to do damage basically without costs while doing thier regular attacks. Its kinda ehh. But I enjoy it. You just have to adapt. Had to closet the light divines for heavy impen. We are currently in s heavy armor meta, though some builds do still get by with light and medium.

Crafting has changed, but just the names and effects of traits. Youll still retain your research on them even though its been altered. Youll have to do some learning on the new effects. Nirnhoned for example was pooped on for armor. Weapons are still ok.

Ive enjoyed it while its free. Played closed beta, and playing open now. Its an okay side gane once or twice a week. 6/10. I wouldnt pay 60$ for it. Ill wait a month or two until it hits games for gold bargain bin for half off like it inevitably will. Seemed so cool but lacked so much...

Thankfully come June when the Morrowind chapter hits ESO ill get all the enjoyable 4v4 i can handle.

If you have such doubts maybe it's still too early for you to come back. Wait a bit more, maybe game will be more interesting next year :D .

They aimed way too high, I get it they were making triple A game, but they over-complicated it way too much, most importantly in wrong way, making it one big mess. Sadly, unless they make huge changes I cant see this series going forward.

I really really hope someone takes advantage of For Honor's fail (If it fails..) and gives it another shot. Game industry needs game like that.

Well im not sure your cp, but yeah the basic ones are fairly easy if your over 160, both vet and normal. But like I said the last four can be a doozey. Certaintly so if you do them on Vet hard mode. The Shadows of the hist two I havent managed to do on Vet hard mode. But im a PvPer and I know alot have.

Nowhere in my comment does it say I'm having doubts. Should probably actually understand the sentence before jumping in and attempting to make a dig at someone.

I'm usually not a fan of pve. I try to rush it just to get to end game pvp. The dungeons in TESO, I did find a lot of fun. So I'd like to put them on the list of things to do. My current CP is 256, so I do have a lot of work to get up to the 600 cap.

Thanks for all the info makeumrage, been helpful.

I feel the dungeons are challenging enough as it is, haha. I'm probably a horrible noob, but even normal WGT is pretty terrifying as far as I'm concerned. And vet dungeons are doable, but when pugging, you never know if it'll be a breeze or a hell of an ordeal.
