I am on XBNA... so I haven't gotten Homestead yet...

I have some ?'s for the PC guys... other than RP... what advantages in gameplay does having a larger house have (over the basic Inn room)? Are there QoL improvements? Can you fit the crafting stations in the inn room? The skelly? TY in advance...

For starters, other than the added space, larger houses offer more spots for furnishings ...

Yes, the crafting stations are smaller ... about half the size of a normal one.

the inn rooms are pretty small, 1 maybe 2 crafting stations max if you try really hard to fit them, the bigger ones definitely are more fun to play with due to the sheer size and item cap increase.
just bought the one in narsis and it's a huge step in capability and creativity since i went from 30 item cap to a whopping 400 item cap, plenty of room for all the crafting stations once i get them and i can even put some of my non-combat pets as decoration and my fence for even more convenience.

would put the banker in but no way am i putting 5k crowns down for just easier access to a bank.

my advice if your after convenience? get the mud hut one near EP start area, looks ugly but pretty much EVERYTHING is right outside for a cheap price. only thing it's missing is a writ board and a stable for upgrading mount
