Hammerdeath Bungalow bad value.

Are there any incentives to buy the hammerdeath house priced at 65,000 gold?
The house doesn't have a back or front yard to modify and it's also located a fair distance from surrounding fast travel shrines.

I'm on the fence about buying this house since I'm into the whole Orc style but comparing the house to other houses within its price range like twin arches and the cyrodillic jungle house its hard to justify purchasing hammerdeath.

Well, if you don't think it's worth it, don't buy it. I'm thinking of buying it, but maybe it would be a good idea to get a house with a nice yard first, and then get the bungalow.

Personally I would say, if you don't like it, don't buy it.
    There, problem solved.

My orcess liked it, so she bought it.

I think it's a huge shame this house doesn't have any outside space because the area immediately outside it is really nice and IMO could easily have been closed off into an instance. If they'd done that this would have been the first house I bought.

As for whether it's worth buying in its current state I suppose that depends on what you want. I wouldn't get it because I really want some outside space, but as this thread shows other people are happy with it.

Being that it's the only Orc themed house in that price range is mainly what disappoint me. If there was another Orc themed house in the same price range with a tiny yard and a closeby fast travel shrine ill get it anyday over the hammerdeath house. As that's not the case i'll instead be getting the Mournmoth house.

I came to exactly the same conclusion.

When the list of houses was announced I was going to get Captain Margaux's Place for one of my DC characters and Hammerdeath for the other. When I discovered both were just 1 small room I dropped that idea.

I didn't want anything bigger than a medium house (both because I can't afford it and because I honestly don't know what I'd do with the space) but I wanted outside space, and for that money I wanted more than the tiny courtyards on the breton houses (although they'd be fine on a small house) and in DC lands that only leave Mournoth Keep.

Fortunately I really like the orc style, even though none of my characters are orcs. It's a bit grey but that's easily fixed with some rugs and tapestries.

Cliffshade has the same problem which is doubly unfortunate, in my opinion, in a medium-sized house in an open area. I'd prefer an Altmer-styled house, but none of them is really satisfactory. Black Vine Villa has a lovely setting, but is a little small, and Mattheisen Manor is pricey and a bit of a barracks, although the grounds are very nice. Perhaps I need to wait for a house in Summerset?
