NPCs for our homes?

first I have to say, that I love the homestead addon. It is a nice feature to spend hours with decorating. However, it feels somewhat "empty" in the houses. Of course you can invite friends, guildies etc.. But I came to the idea, that it would be extraordinarily awesome to be able to place NPCs in your homes. A bard filling your home with beautiful songs, a cook in the kitchen, a blacksmith outside, a servant looking for the horses, guards at the entry, etc. etc. I think you got it. Are there any plans in the near future to implement such? It would be great!

100% agree. Make it so please. What's the point of owning a castle if it's empty af.

✭✭✭✭✭Yep, many people have been asking for this ever since housing was first on the PTS. Unfortunately it doesn't look like there are any plans to implement it any time soon (at least ZOS haven't said anything about it), but it would be great if they did.
At the moment all you can do is add the 3 assistants - the one from the Thieves Guild and the two extremely expensive crown store ones. But since they just stand in one spot and don't really do anything, and take up the same item slots as pets and mounts meaning you can't have many of them, it's not much of an improvement over an empty house IMO.
It would be great if we could have cosmetic NPCs (meaning they don't have to offer actual functions like the banker and merchant) that do things like sweep or read or cook or whatever.PC EU player | She/her/hers | PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff) - Say No to Crown Crates!

As far as I've heard, there will be implemented an extra homestead category in the forum. Though, I have no clue on when this will happen.0
