I spent 2 hours looking through thousands of motifs trying to find just one celestial glove motif and could not find it. If we are stuck with this horrible trading system and pages of motif please for the love of all that is good add a damn search option for the body or wep we are looking for. I am so sick of wasting my time to a simple fix

    The guild traders very much need search options, this problem becomes compounded every patch that adds more tradable gear, collectibles and other such things. They've needed them for the past three years, and they need them more than ever before now :p

    No worries. It is something we would like to do in the future but no eta. Yeah we know some random addon guy did it better like a week after launch but that means nothing. No eta. Like spellcrafting. We are currently taking bets in the office which will occur first.

    Just like skyrim, the players added add ons themselves. Just by adding a line of code for a motif number filter and it's that hard for them.

    To bad on console we don't have add ons so are we just out of luck and have to spend are gaming time looking though the guild traders until it's time to get off bc of life?

    There should really be a unified marketplace as well. For all those who say "God no I love immersion I love to waste my time traveling all over to shop," just keep the old traders in place and they can run around if they wanna. The rest of us can leverage the time to actually play instead of wasting time shopping.

    I personally don't even bother selling or buying on traders any more, it's just too annoying and too much of a waste of time.

    The Guild Traders are the worst Trade-option i have experienced in any online game. In my opinion: other online Games have done a 100 times better with their in game auction features.

    Just one point: the insane idea that Guilds have to bid each week for limited available Auction-traders comes straight out of Oblivion. I am sure M-Bal is behind this idea.

    Better Idea. Have guilds buy shares (one time) in the Traders found all over the game. The guild with the most shares has access to the most traders (potentially to all).

    well, since i am at it. the 500 member limit forces Guilds to be very choosy about whom they admit and whom they throw out.

    Now, I am not having it at the Guilds. but the Guild bosses in the one i was in wrote a nice guild message to members which basically said:

    Because of limited member-space and because of the Trader auction fees, anyone not selling a least 5k goods a week has to be removed from the guild list.

    No, i am no cross with the guild-bosses for doing this; i am cross with ZOS for allowing such an botched up system to run for such a long time.

    Having said all this. I like the game and will continue to support the game...but continue griping about the features that are in my opinion so inferior that only M-Bal could have come up with them.

    Having fun and not frustration is what gaming is about for me.

    I agree with the original poster.. We need a global AH that will allow us to look up each guild AH.. let it be for subscribers only.

    OR better yet..

    Make it a perk for max level in one of the skill lines that allows us access to it.

    The present trading system insures that a few elite trading guilds are in control of the market. The system is beyond stupid.

    But I don't think Zos will change it because they are going to cater to those elite guilds. It benefits the strong trade guilds while making it impossible for the buyers to find what they need. Unless you want to spend an hour or two running around to different traders.

    This is the most pointless reply ever has nothing to do with what I'm asking I'm asking for a better search option so I can find things and not spend hours doing it. I did not ask to change to an AH

    A specific search option would be nice.

    Motifs are the worst. Endlessly scanning for the one you need is migraine inducing. And with the addition of master writs (which often demand a specific style of armor) this problem is only going to become more pronounced. But I wouldn't hold your breath because we have been asking for this for years.

    ESO has become a haven for players who enjoy clunky trade systems. Many of them actually enjoy running around checking different stores for hours.

    I don't understand it either. But they do.

    I have to say though, I was VERY happy with the changes they made so that your search information for guild vendors is now remembered until you change it or log. This makes searching the multiple vendors for a given item much easier and quicker.

    Of course it should be improved. The fact that you need an addon in order to simply search for a specific item is testament to how incomplete the trade system is.

    Even my local library which has technology from 2 decades ago let's me search for a specific book.

    Can you imagine "I am looking for Curious George" and getting the reply "There is a giant pile of kids books over there. One of those might be the book you are looking for!"

    The guildstore should be much easier to use. I of course got the guild trader addon and forgot what the actual trader looks like.. until I had to turn off my addons after the latest patch... ergh its still terrible. the latest changes were good but it really should be like the addon.

    I have never played any other MMO so I have no idea what other systems are like.

    Guild system needs remapping

    Add guild quests that award double xp and gold to guild.

    Wanted board for items and adventure and now furniture

    Morph personal hall into guild hall if you go that route and make it free for frist time.

    Videos and pictures boards

    Buff's for visiting home and working with guild mates

    A junk storage

    Guild reputation configured into bank system

    DSA guild save option

    Guild mission with rewards for working with guild mates

    Awesome Guild Store doesn't do that. It improves the user interface so that the guild store you are at can be searched better. It in no way lends itself to a Global Auction House.

    I wasn't aware of the difference. Still not taking the chance of getting a virus or corrupting my game with a third party addon.

    Zenimax Online should look at some of the more popular addons and make them default parts of the UI, at least ones that keep the minimalistic look of the default UI while adding more information and functionality.

    Awesome Guild Stores really should be a part of the default, as should Advanced Filters.

    I'm sure it was brought up by the "special group of 12" that went to Zenimax last week. Since more than .1% of the community uses the trading system.
