ESO has stopped working

so. since yesterday i'm getting this when loading into the game (every time)
character selection screen works fine.
other games work fine.

it's not the Graphics driver that's crashing it looks to me like it's simply eso Calling something in the kernel.

anyone else have this?

Nope still works for me. Although they will tell you to repair the client and disable addons. Also they did say in one of their E-mails to me that the usersettings.ini can get corrupted after a patch or update and deleting that and then repairing can sometimes help.

i have not removed my addons tho, will try that

Thanks for your patience with this. We went ahead and moved this thread to the PC technical support section as it's more fitting to the issue.

@ers101284b14_ESO is correct, starting with a repair and removing add-ons is a good place to start, especially if the game was working in the past. We see that you've run a repair already as well as reset the settings, so if removing add-ons doesn't help, please let us know and we'll be happy to continue assisting you!

no difference when removing the addons, sigh

Not necessarilly your set up. Other people have crashes also but usually in PVP. You might have to try a clean install.

Quick update:
new drivers, old drivers, no drivers, no addons, repair and so on made no difference, same crash logged in system EventViewer

1. i discovered that it was only my main character that could not load, my alts loaded fine
2. i could log in on my mac (on my main character)
3. resolution (for me) was to move out of the spot i was in (from my mac) and then log in on windows
4.going back into the ship works fine now

and i was on the ship "the lydia" in daggerfall running the veteran questline

mostly confusing, but there you go, such is Life

sent some data to GaryA, hopefully they can make more sense out of this than i can.

I have the same problem, recently resubbed and downloaded update, selected my character then it loads then crashes, sometimes justs sends me to login screen with no report and other times I get report.

Hey guys. I think I am having this problem. I have only been playing a week, and since the more recent patch (the one that adds houses to the game) I have not been able to log on. The launcher starts fine. Hit play and wait a few seconds then an error message comes up saying that eso has encountered a problem and needs to close. I have updated my windows to 8.1 and done a fresh install. I have also tried several repairs and yet the same problem occurs. I have no add ons or any other third party programs. Just the game. Getting pretty frustrating as I have also paid for eso plus.
Anyone have any suggestions?
