[BUG] Treasure maps Chests not dropping Paintings

Has anyone managed to find any paintings from treasure map chests? Friend farmed around 60 maps and didn't drop a single one, yet people are getting them fine from normal chests. Is this intended? If so would be nice to have some confirmations of such things, since they are by default chests so only seems logical that they would drop.

    Can I have the 23 Treasure Maps back that I opened last night? I specifically was looking for Paintings and did not get any at all.
    Semi retired from the trading aspects of the game.

    I already used 2 dozen treasure maps, and using the treasure hunter CP passive got 0 paintings...RIP

    One of the benefits of console delay, hopefully it'll be fixed by then (and I'll hang on to my treasure maps).

    I was less than enthused when the rare painting turned out to be a gigantic, low resolution version of a load screen.

    Any chance I can also get all that damn time that was wasted on them back. I was really just thinking they were super rare, now I am hurt in the nether regions.

    I bought and opened around 50 treasure chest when the patch came live. Can I get my stuff back? The housing items was the only reason I bough the treasure maps otherwise there is only trash in them.
    Magicka sorcerer from start until the end. Always. Through the good times and the bad, even now when its probably saddest PvE dps it has ever been.
    Even as an owner of one radiant apex mounts I am against radiant apex mounts and anything thats not obtainable by direct purchase.

    Same here, I trolled random guild stores for a couple weeks building up a pile on the cheap.

    I think though, it's safe to assume we won't be getting a refund. That is not Zos' way.

    I went through about 100 maps on 2 accounts before someone let me know this was going on. Aaarrggh

    I used a few treasure maps last night and got one of my paintings from one. Did not know this bug was a thing? Maybe it just affects some people, or they fixed it serverside already.

    Anyone? Fixed? Not fixed? I just have a boatload of maps clogging my inventory in anticipation of the answer and would prefer if they were not clogging my inventory.in anticipation of the answer.
