Fiery Grip CC immunity

Is it too complicated for some stupid reason to give this ability it's own CC timer?

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, if you pull someone to you with fiery grip, they are granted CC immunity as if you stunned/knocked them down etc. which means you can't hard cc them once you pull them to you which greatly reduces the use of it in pvp. It is this way so you can't spam it on people and be annoying which is good. The same effect can be had by granting the ability it's own timer though so that it doesn't get screwed over in pvp. So why not?

If they rly go for this then Swarm Mother should get the same treatment.

Ehhh I don't know about that. Maybe, but this is about fixing individual skills, not trying to blanket fix everything with the same rules, that's why it's this way in the first place.

Fiery Grip grants CC Immunity bc it forces a character to lose complete control of their actions (hard CC) while being dragged to the corresponding DK. Once close to a DK they're in danger of being snared to death if they don't act quickly. If it didn't grant CC immunity, it would be one of the most OP skills in the game. It's already pretty deadly if you use it with a coordinated group. If you want to CC someone along with using chains, use the other morph.

Yea they lose control for ~1 second while they are being pulled but the puller can't do additional attacks while pulling, it's just a gap closer, it's not the same. I'd much rather have a DK pull me to them and waste their hard CC than have them use the other morph and pull to me. All you gotta do is dodgeroll the second you get pulled, which is what you do anyways cus of dk roots, and walla your back outa range, they can't pull you again to close the gap, AND you have CC immunity, YAY for dk pullers!

I forgot they buffed the speed to 6sec now so that's good. I think it would be cooler if the other morph gave the speed buff though and this one didn't but instead didn't give CC immunity.

I don't want it to be OP or anything, I just really like it and wish I could use it more in PvP. Maybe I will try it actually with the speed buff now. If you can't pull them, does it still give you speed buff??

EDIT: Ahhh yes it does still grant you major expedition if you can't pull them to you along with refunding the magic cost. That's nice at least.

This skill not only causes the other player to lose control of their character, it physically moves their position. There's no reason this skill or any other CC should have it's own CC timer.

At least you affect them. Theres always templar eclipse that the target can still move and defend and even attack so long as it is not a projectile and they get CC immunity from it.

That is a whole different puddle of *** to talk about.

Yea it is annoying. But is funny when two zergs are facing off and you pull enemies into you.r zerg. You can almost imagine that little oh *** moment before they get ripped apart.

I would love for it to have it's own immunity, between giving free immunity and not working on the slightest elevation it's just not worth the hassle most of the time in pvp.... and I don't want to use the other morph because I love the ability in pve.
