Skilltracker - API bug broke Addons

If you're a PvE player who likes to min-max his DOT and buff uptime, you're probably using FTC, Srendarr or any other GUI addon to keep track of their uptimes.
To the horror of all (serious) PvE players, the recent "Homestead" update broke these addons due to an API change, which makes it nearly impossible to achieve a perfect rotation.

As a PvE Damage Dealer, playing magicka sorcerer I like to keep track of my Liquid Lightning, Elemental Blockade and Velocious Curse, to minimize their downtime.
I use Srendarr for that and as you can see in this screenshot, it doesn't only show my skills, it also shows all DOTs, HOTs, buffs, debuffs etc, which makes it impossible for me to locate my Curse in this flood of information. AOE skills have been disabled by the Addon creator as it would flood the screen even more.

I know that this issue is being adressed at the moment, as it's already a topic on the ongoing "Morrowind Feedback" event in the states but I haven't seen a thread on the Forums yet so I decided to create this discussion.
What are you guys using for bufftracking, did anybody find a workaround? I'd love to see a fix to this soon so that we can properly raid again

AFAIK Combat Metrics and LUI should have a workaround. As mentioned in the linked thread it's nothing the authors can completly undo but ZOS has already announced a solution that should make it into the incremental on monday.

They fix it. Also, they thow the addon authors a bone with this one since they can now track more stuff easier and I think I heard it provides new funtions for addons which we haven't had before.

To my understanding they're planning to improve the source type in a patch, the issue seems to be fixed for a few addons but theres no update or Srendarr yet but I'm sure that it will come soon, as I see Phinix in that thread.
There was a CM update earlier but it stated that the changes might be 'wierd', which is I'm guessing due to the remaining issue.
Anyways, nice to see some light, thanks for the info!
