Mara's Kiss Public House room (made for Bosmer?)

The free inn room in Vulkhel Guard is tiiiiny. Like almost half the size of the DC one. Is this for Bosmer? Or do Altmer really don't like their guests to stay that long on their shores XD I will have to try it with a Bosmer or a small Khajiit to see if they can breathe in there because my Altmer and his (Bottle, Epic) on a (Tea Table, Plain) feel a bit cramped in there! Which one did you get and which one do you like the most (of the free inn rooms) so far?

I've got all 3 and I agree this one is tiny.

My favourite is probably the Daggerfall one, just because it looks the least cramped. It's kind of funny because one of the things that put me off the bigger breton houses is that they're so square and plain, but at this size that's exactly what you want.

It's annoying because part of my crafter's backstory, from way before housing was announced, is that he wants to live on Auridon. I was hoping to get him a nice little house but my options are a tiny inn room, a slightly less tiny apartment (that is also the smallest of the 3) or an absurdly huge mansion. And I ain't buying a mansion for an alt.

I'm having a similar problem with finding a house for my mains up in the Covenant. I don't want to criticise ZOS on this because I think 39 houses ranging from a tiny inn room to literally a castle and covering all the racial styles is a really good selection, but it's made me wish we could move the houses around - pick a house and then pick a location separately.

(Also if there's a lore reason for it I really wouldn't be surprised to learn it's because the altmer are extremely reluctant to allow foreigners to stay on Auridon at all and would only grudgingly allow them to use the smallest room they could find.)

This is a room for very intimate times with target skeleton. Very close combat times.
People in Mara's Kiss will be very happy with sounds from this broom closet.

Lol. Can you even place a combat skeleton in there? I haven't tried.

And yes @Danikat the apartment in Skywatch is basically just slightly bigger than the free inn rooms that DC gets. I mean you can modify it with planks to place a small second storey to make it a bit more spacious but my Altmer is too tall for this :P

(for the record, I am not complaining, I just find it extremely funny!)

I think the Rosy Lion Inn Room is the nicest of the free inn rooms. It has plenty of windows which let in light and nice, square corners. It seems the largest and brightest.

The Ebony Flask is rectangular, but very dark. OK for vampires.

Mara's Kiss is tiny and has too many sharp angles in it. You can barely fit a single bed in because there isn't enough space. I don't know why a room would be built in that way.

The Dunmer apartment room has the same problem. Being built around a circular building makes it rather hard to place furniture. The Redguard apartment room is much better value for money in terms of usable space.
