Best set to combine with Vicious Ophidian

I finally have full set and I want to run vMA(never done it on vet).

What will be a good set to combine with VO on stamDK?

I am running Skoria(still working on medium kraghs) and I thought about hundings.
It has to be a crafting set and one piece on weapon, sadly, so Twiceborn is not a options here(but gives nice max stats).
Also, dagger or sword combined with a axe?

I would either go with Hunding's rage or Night Mother's Gaze. Hundings will give you more weapon damage but NMG will give better pen, although I think NMG is better right now, but i could be wrong. You should craft either 2 sharpened daggers or a sharpened dagger and sharpened axe. If you have lower crit, use double daggers.

Actually, if you have 3 VO jewlery and two body peices, you should definitely drop skoria to put on 5 body peices of whichever set you end up choosing, and do two dual wield weapons of the other set. So for example, you could do 3 VO jewlery 2 body, 5 body pieces NMG and 2 daggers of hundings rage. Once you get vMA weps just drop the daggers you crafted. On my stamsorc i run 5 TBS body, 3 VO jewlery 2 VO body, vMA weps and it works like a charm.

First I need to beat vMA... For now now I thought to run 1piece of Skoria(for max hp) and 1piece of Kra'gh's(for penetration)
or 2 pieces of agility(1.5 more stam then any other 2piece bonus).

I guess it does not matter that much.

Keep skoria, until you get velidreth.

Make NMG and just make your other weapon a sharpened dagger with a wpn dmg glyph.

My Stam NB is running:

5 VO (3 jewelry/2 body)
5 Night Mother's Gaze ( 3 body/2 sharpened daggers)
2 Velidreth
1 vMA Bow (back bar)

I'd recommend something along these lines, although with this setup your health will be reallllly low especially for a first clear. On top of swapping out the monster set, using tri-glyph enchants is an option on your large pieces. I'd also only take an axe over a dagger if you're over 70% crit w/o the dagger.

I just made a Hunding's for more weapon damage and thus increasing my vigor heals.
Now it's:
2 piece Skoria
jelewry VO + axe + chest
Hunding's on rest of the body and bow
So far so good. Finally I could reach 25kdps without much problems with clunky rotation(solo buffs).
And again, this is crazy compared to my magDK, easy 30k dps with blue BSW and 35k dps in group(before the Homestead) while on stamDK there are only 2 purple pieces rest is gold...

Damn Ice stage is driving me crazy.

P.S. I love when people keep posting vMA weapons when I clearly wrote that I did not beat vMA yet. I get it vMa weapons are BiS

If you're referring my my comment I said, this is what I run, you should run, "...something along these lines..." These are to help you get ideas as to what would be best for your build, after all, you never what to straight up copy/paste another persons build.

I'm running Toothrow and Slimecraw in addition to V.O. and loving it.
Have never done it for Maelstrom Arena though but for everything else it works well for me.

I run Kvatch Gladiator for the execute damage from light and heavy attacks that DK lacks.

I have been very happy with 5 VO, 5 Kvatch Gladiator, 2 Selene.

Night Mothers gaze is considered BIS for running Maelstroms on most builds but Hundings is great so.

I've been so happy with how it preformed on a DK I golded it out also looking forward to the extra CP with this update to get 75 points in the middle blue tree for extra damage against low health targets passive.

Finally done vMA. It was more annoying to finish then hard, something like catching annoying fly...

Done it with: 2pc Skoria, 5pc Hunding's and 5pc Vicious Ophidian. Two puprle armor pieces rest gold and blue jelewry, everything divine, robust and precise.

One Question: let's say i use two NMG dagger's and a bow on my backbar and 3 armor pieces of Night mothers Gaze.
Once procced does the 5 piece bonus stay when i switch bars?

I had around 505cp an got something like 10cp from whole run(dunno if i understood correctly, it's so early here).

@Siliziumdioxid You can easly test it yourself on random mobs. I may be wrong but it depends on what skills/dots You are using on bow bar.

best score in vma is with spriggans and VO with velidreth for monster set.....i believe that is the best setup you can have for stam vma......for pve its leaning toward two fanged 3vo kraghs and maelstrom axe dagger

Spriggans most likely.

The one I enjoy the most with a stam DK is Kavatch Gladiator (I average about 12 K light attacks during execute phase) and my absolute favorite monster helm for stamina is Selene's.

Kraghs is more damage but I like the extra stamina and the bear is my burst damage every 4 - 6 seconds on an otherwise dot build.

If I was two a meta 5-5-2 build with no VMA weapons

5 spriggans (w/sharpened daggers)
5 VO
2 kraghs
