Temper quantity changes

I was not aware that the quantity of tempers needed to improve an item was going to change. In the past, 8 "gold" level tempers were needed to upgrade an item from "purple" to "gold". Now you need 20. That equates to 140 gold tempers for 7 armor slots, and possibly 40 more for dual wield or sword and board. So a full set of armor and two weapons will now need 180 gold tempers. Did somebody really think this was a good idea? This might be ok if drop rates were increased to match, but looking at other posts show me drop rates were left alone or possibly nerfed. Please, somebody tell me this is not working as intended.

✭✭I did a couple of master writs for woodworking and blacksmithing after the patch Monday and they were still 8 gold tempers each, same as before.

Quigster✭✭✭Good catch, folks. This was on my wife's character. She had 0 in that passive, whereas I still have the passive maxed, hence 20 for her and 8 for me. She used to have the passive maxed but moved skill points out of it some time back and forgot. Thanks again.(50) Quigster Bosmer Stamplar
