What does it take to clear a group dungeon?

Sorry if this question is obvious, I took a year or so off the game. What does it take to "white out" a group dungeon on your map now? Do you have to run both version I & II on both regular and veteran?

Just on regular, I think. I and II are technically separate map markers with the same coordinates. So, whichever one is on top (probably II) should set the dungeon to show as complete, even if the other half is unfinished.

You mean on the top of the pop up window when you hover your cursor over it on the game map?

I think you have to do the quest and kill all bosses

But just Normal 1 not both?

Just II, one sec, checking something.

Okay, so, II should be on the top. If you've completed the quest for I, before One Tamriel launched, the map marker will be white until you enter the II version (assuming it's uncompleted.) Completing II will set the marker to white.

If you've never been to the dungeon on that character, completing II should set it to white, regardless of completing I.

I think it keys off completing the quest only. But, I don't know for certain.

you just have to do the quest(s) for that dungeon. Dungeons with a version 1 and a version 2 will both need to be done to "white out" the icon on your map......at least it is like that on PS4

Do you want the elitist version or the sensible version of the requirements?

To make the map icon turn white, you need to complete the associated quest for the dungeon. For dungeons with both a I and a II variant, you'll need to do both quests. You can do the quests in a regular dungeon, so no need to go vet.

I do them on vet too ... just have an OCD "I finished this map" thing.

Each tends to appear depending but killing all bosses typically

I always do the dungeons quests the first time as well
