How to decorate your house?

You tell yourself it's the foundation that matters.... but you still don't have a bed and are living by candlelight.
Here's how to get going!
1) Give house a story
They chased you from grathwood, and spinners talk about you now as a tall tale, but the reality is you are simply a worm cult esthuist who worries is the massive grave marker is enough for those... Yet to be successful experiments. Don't worry there are less guards in shadowfen...
A weary bard who longes for a better life, but reality all those gold coins on table will go to more bottle of lusty agorian, and a few morsels of bread with day old cheese.
You couldn't look him eye when he ask you about skooma, let's hope he never asks about the vials, and strange smell. Don't worry if anyone asks it was here when you moved in.
2) Pick out some furniture as goals. There's achievements ones you need to quests. You can may the gold along the way... Take some Properous gear too.
3) Trade recipes, you get alot if Nord but not Breton so shout in zone WTT for Breton recipe.
4) show off in zone and charge commission along with material cost.
5) Hews bane event - Double nodes
6) use CP passive to get double nodes.
7) Randomly visit people for ideas, make sure you set primary and allow guests.

✭✭✭✭✭This is really good advice.
Especially giving the house a story - last night I was worrying about finding, affording and fitting in "enough" furniture in the free Auridon inn room (which is the smallest of the 3) when I remembered that actually it's only a temporary home for most my characters, long-term it'll mainly be used by my thief/DB/vamp character whose main priorities are solid walls and a locked door between him and the authorities, and a bedroll on the floor would be a bonus.
Regarding point 3 I've heard that recipes you find are more likely to match the alliance you're in. So if you're getting a lot of norn ones and want some breton ones it might be worth going to a DC map to look for a trade.
Also when looking for specific recipes or someone to craft something remember we're only a couple of day in. I've had good luck stealing finding abandoned recipes to re-home, I found about 4 or 5 in an hour but they're pretty random. ✭✭✭✭✭I actually better off then most we are having recipe dungeon parties, do you know we now stop at drawers in unduanted dungeons... I haven't did that since lvl 20 (over 600 levels ago). Instead of the usual not we go exploring for recipes in public dungeons.
That information is misleading I am getting khajit in audrion, dark elf etc, in audrion. (High elves have nice banks)
In regards to commissions, there are over 2000 items... We are going to need a crafter. I think this good for encomy, ... I need to make friends with theif and assassins...So I can get some scholar papers, and ink wells. @Tasear wants to buy.

Crates - wax
Backpacks are your friends
P.S decorate, right icon settings, set primary, allow visitors... even inn room could be amazing.
I made this thread cause it saddens me all the empty houses. I even bring a fern to everyone I visit.

✭✭✭✭✭Likely a week long cause zos parties are the best. Should be soon as thieves guild dlc came around this time. Also I very much think this is on purpose as a way destress the material grind.
