First-Person view and Seating

So a cool addition for RP'ers in this update was the ability to interact and actually sit down on chairs, benches, stools, etc.

Now, I won't go into how laughable it is it took them 3 years to implement this, but something even more disappointing is that when you sit down it automatically switches to 3rd person view. Pretty lame if you like playing in first-person or for RP purposes. I'm hoping ZOS can enable a first-person option for seating in the near future. They've done it before with things like node hunting.

I know this is a small nitpick amongst the major issues or features added, but something to bring up just the same.

And it having us using the same "hands on lap" pose while sitting in our fancy new chairs/benches isn't that spectacular either.

Would be nice to be able to choose other emotes while seated, now that the sitting part is tied to a function rather than an emote.

i.e. While sitting at a table, it'd be cool to use a "eat or drink" emote, maybe "shuffle cards" or whatever the "stabbing knife between fingers" things is called emote. If sitting away from a table, maybe "lean back", "flip dagger" or "spin coin through fingers" emote.

Something, anything... other then just sitting there with hands on lap! Because I mean that's apparently what we all do when sitting in a chair? Just sit there rubbing our thighs? right! Right?

I agree with the op and what @Zenzuki says. I would absolutely love to have some emotes while sitting.

I'm hoping we can get sitting emotes like /Drink /Eat ect . It should not be that hard because NPCs can do it so its in the code . Might want to check immersive horse riding add on if you are on PC . Sometimes I can see in 1st person when siting with it .

I really hope they do this. I need to be able to sit and play emotes in first person. It kills my immersion when it forces me into 3rd person when I sit. Sucks, the amount of time I've thought "this is a lovely day. I'll go outside to sit on my bench in my home" insta 3rd person. Arghhh.

Same thing with going werewolf. I'm really disappointed we are not able to go into first person with this. Think of how cool that would be...

There is an addon to fix this if you are on PC. Unlimited Camera Zoom I think its called. You can 1st person ride mounts etc. The only problem is... And it actually took me a while to figure out why 1st person felt wrong, is that 1st person is a set height, for instance, when I zoom in, I zoom into my chest, not eye level.

Personally I think this needs to be fixed, if you can have full control over 3rd person camera it shouldn't be too hard to allow a range of first person up and down adjustments based on max and min height of characters in game.

If this were fixed, then 1st person would stop feeling wrong and combat would be more viable i.e Skyrim 1st person.

Yeah, Rohamad_Ali mentioned a mod that works for this too but I'd rather them just implement the option without me resorting to installing a mod and would also be nice for console users.
