"invincible sets" better than nerfing proc sets.

Proc Sets Need to Be Nerfed ? Is that the only thing ? How about invincibility, can we fix this too ?

Since some people can't stop worrying about what builds and abilities we were using like I said in the lower post this was a all day affair with him hiding in keeps So we were tired and the videos did not show everything. This post was not about what kind of damage output everyone was doing 7+ people should be able to take down a person the odds are slim that not one person in the group was using the right abilities all day.

Do people in joy this kind of behavior?

What is the point of it ?

Looks like hist bark exploit with lingering pots and ultimate regeneration build. Plus the damage numbers you're putting out are very very low. So if the people around you are putting out same dps then tanking like this would be easy, legit as well. But it most likely is exploits that's carrying him.

He had shuffle all the time and both shuffle and hist bark gives major evasion which doesnt stuck , so no exploit of hist bark here. Also i doubt it's ulti regen build I think it's resource regen build with desert rose which was OP and get nerfed with homestead.

i thought this was talking about nightblade cloak but its about a tanky DK that a group of 6 couldn't kill.

i dont think its a problem that guy could not kill even 1 of you guys if he tried. i dont even think he had an attack skill slotted he was all defensive.

Honestly I dont see issue here. That guys is strongly builded for tanking and doing no dmg. Proc sets issue was he could be still tanky (maybe not so much as he is on video but still) but also kill You in 2 seconds.
The fact that he cannot be killed by ~5 players that (if I must to be honest) playing weak on him shows that You guys was doing this incorrect and was not thinking of outplaying him just brainlesly spammed skills.

Yup, I remember him, the Insane Tank FURY. Myself and the two others in my group (Krossfire and Crimson Wolf) finally joined in at that battle with the others and used CC skills like the Nightblades Fear, and other skills to drop his block that eventually led to his death..

It took soooo long to kill him, but you guys are right, here on the Forum, he does little to no damage but man can he take it.

I only watched the first half of the video, but didn't see at which point you attemted to kill him. I didn't see many unblockable skills like purifiying light or curse, I didn't see any unblockable cc, your friends were doing very low damage by hardcasting crystal frags, doing just heavy attacks or using execute skills at max hp, there were no healing debuffs, you didn't coordinate your ultimates, most of the time you all stopped attacking him for a few secs when he rooted you, ...

There is one problem with these builds. They are able to take a resource by themselves. That's all fine as many other classes are able to do this. But have you ever tried to get a resource back with one of these jerks sitting on top of it? You kind of need a raid. I spent the better part of yesterday morning 1v1ing a dk at chal farm and couldnt kill him. He couldnt kill me either but wow even after 30m when 4 others finally joined me... we still could not kill him. I think he eventually left of boredom.

Darn, he's sitting on a resource. If nobody goes over there they will get bored and leave, go fight somewhere else. I hate the invincible tanks as much as anyone, but nobody understands that simply walking away will be the best course of action.

Get that penetration and AC wreck going. There is always a way if you wanna spend the time. You build a specific DK wrecker and when you find one of these... tell your buddies you'll brb and go get it. Either that or have a secondary loadout to switch to. I prefer having the total wrecker.

I played DDO and they had the same issue. *X is too op... nerf it* If you spent more time building a wrecker and less time building the OP clones, they wouldnt be OP any more.

Does this happen often enough for it to be a problem? I PvP daily and have never seen it happen once.
PvP tank is a legit and useful build. I don't get why it's such an issue for people. You can't kill nightblades when they vanish, or sorcs that spam shields and streak away. Being "unkillable" is not restricted to tanks.

They are vinceable I'd you know how to fight them. However that is if they are fighting back if they are just doing every and anything to survive. LOSing not wasting resources on attacking. Then it will take a group of 2 or 3 or some serious doting in their part to get a kill. And I mean if they specd completely into defense and are playing completely defensively I don't think they should be easy to kill. But yes they are annoying. Continuous rooting with coordinated ultimate spam usually takes them out. But yes very annoying...

I am not sure what is going on here but this is beyond Tanky this happened more than the time that was shown on the video. Even with good resource management he was holding block the whole time running in dodging this does not look legit.
there was multiple traps stuns poison's applied to him and he walked through them I don't think it should take 15 to 20 people to take one person down

This guy is really tanky. However my group of 5 surrounds home builds ultimates and leaves. But yea in the video I didn't see one fear or one immobilize. MNB are great for people like this. Cripple Fear Cripple Cripple Fear. That's how you kill this guy. Other than that what are you worried about getting spike armored to death?

Complain players when they:
1- theorycraft
2- use line of sight
3- he focused on defensive playstyle, not on offensive (have you ever thought he is wearing 2 sets that give only tankyness + regen? it's not all about black rose and viper tho, he gets no damage but he deals no damage too)
4- are more skilled than your Whole team (spamming executioner when he was at 100% of life made me think your friends and you were the problem)
An advice, the problem there, were you that keep focusing on a guy that has 0 damage, while probably other players of his alliance took resources and keeps, sorry but it's a l2p issue.
Way to improve?
1- use poison
2- use cc (i don't see them)
3- don't spam skills
4- coordinate ultimates
5- PRACTICE

I can only speak for me and my friend we were in there all day we had no trouble killing people until it came to this guy so the damage was not the problem

I thought there were changes to heavy armor and some of the sets as well as the proc set crit thing which also applies to healing procs - iirc.

You happened to run into a very good tank, possibly the best on DC. You have Dr Joker on AD who tanks crowds of players and doesn't die. Never thought he needed a nerfing, I just ignore him and move on to the next target.

No good player chooses to waste 30 minutes on one bloke for one resource (without using Fear or Fossilize or other) instead of doing something useful for their faction (as in, sieging or defending keeps) or their AP pool.

If I was a night Blade I would've use those skills but I was using my Dragon night getting viger but I did see him get feared he recovered very quickly
